On 02 Feb 1626 Charles I King England, Scotland and Ireland was crowned I King England Scotland and Ireland: Stewart at Westminster Abbey. In 1645 William Cavendish 3rd Earl Devonshire returned to England and submitted to Parliament. He was pardoned for his former delinquency in 1646 and fined £5,000.
