After 06 Jun 1441 William Phelip 6th Baron Bardolf was buried at St Mary's Church. Monument to William Phelip 6th Baron Bardolf and Joan Bardolf 6th Baroness Bardolf. Early Plate Period (Bascinet and Gorget). Feathered Crest. Detail of the Wyvern on which her feet rest. Detail of Eagle, possibly hawk, on which his feet rest. Crespine Headress covering her hair. He wearing a bascinet with orle and IHC lettering. Both wearing a Lancastrian Esses Collar. Leg Garter below the left knee.

After 1503. Monument to John Pole 2nd Duke Suffolk and Elizabeth York Duchess Suffolk in St Andrew's Church. Finely made Fluted Period alabaster monument. Both wearing their ducal coronets. He wearing a Leg Garter. His head resting on a great helm with Saracen's Head Crest, feet resting on a Lion.

After 20 Sep 1543 Thomas Manners 1st Earl Rutland was buried in the Chancel of St Mary the Virgin Church in Bottesford. Garter Robes with his Leg Garter.

After 20 Jun 1561 Francis Hastings 2nd Earl Huntingdon was buried at Hasting's Chapel. Monument to Francis Hastings 2nd Earl Huntingdon and Catherine Pole Countess Huntingdon. Tudor Period. Leg Garter. Feet resting on Manticore. The Manticore being the badge of the Hasting's family. Alabaster chest tomb and his wife. Two alabaster effigies are on a tomb chest with shields and weepers. The monument was `restored' in 1698 by the 6th Earl when it was placed against the wall beneath a mural monument with armorial bearings. It was moved back to the centre of the chapel after 1837.

After 17 Sep 1563 Henry Manners 2nd Earl Rutland was buried in the Chancel of St Mary the Virgin Church in Bottesford. After 13 Oct 1559 Margaret Neville was buried in St Mary the Virgin Church. An unusual Table Tomb with their effigies beneath surmounted by effigies on their children, and the Arms of Manners and Neville. He wearing a Leg Garter.

On 04 Aug 1598 William Cecil 1st Baron Burghley died. His son Thomas Cecil 1st Earl Exeter succeeded 2nd Baron Burghley. William Cecil was buried at St Martin's Church. Large free-standing monument under the north chapel arch, in coloured marbles with a figure on tomb chest under an arched canopy supported on paired columns. Attributed to Cornelius Cure. The emblem of the Knights of the Garter on William's left shoulder. Leg Garter.
