Biography of Kemeys Radcliffe 1766-1828

In 1766 Kemeys Radcliffe was born at Hackney.

On 21 Apr 1792 Kemeys Radcliffe (age 26) and Mary Magdalana Tealing of Putney were married at St Paul's Church, Covent Garden. His aunt Emilia Anne Pond was witness.

On or before 14 Aug 1797 [his son] Reverend Robert Behoe Radcliffe was born to Kemeys Radcliffe (age 31). His middle name from his maternal uncle Behoe Tealing, who rose to the rank of Chief Mate in the East India Company and who died around the time of Robert's birth.

Between 1812 and 1814 Kemeys Radcliffe (age 48) was working at the Navy Pay Office.

Before Oct 1812 Kemeys Radcliffe (age 46) was a banker. He was declared bankrupt in Oct 1812.

On 07 Jul 1828 [his daughter] Emilia Anne Radcliffe died. The same day and the same house as her father Kemeys Radcliffe (age 62); possibly a cholera epidemic.
