Around Nov 1431 Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford was born to Owen Tudor and Catherine of Valois Queen Consort England at Bishop's Hatfield.

On 25 Nov 1452 Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford was created 1st Earl Pembroke (7C 1452).

Knighting at Greenwich

On 05 Jan 1453 John Neville 1st Marquess Montagu, Thomas Neville, William "Black William" Herbert 1st Earl Pembroke, brothers Edmund Tudor 1st Earl Richmond and Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford and Roger Lewkenor were knighted by King Henry VI at Greenwich.

Around 1459 Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford was appointed 180th Knight Garter: Henry VI.

Battle of Mortimer's Cross

On 02 Feb 1461 at the Battle of Mortimer's Cross at Wigmore the future Edward IV King England commanded the Yorkist forces including William Hastings 1st Baron Hastings, John Wenlock 1st Baron Wenlock, John Tuchet 6th Baron Audley Heighley, 3rd Baron Tuchet, John Savage and Roger Vaughan. In the Lancastrian army Owen Tudor (captured by Roger Vaughan ) and his son Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford fought as well as James Butler 1st Earl Wiltshire, 5th Earl Ormonde. Gruffydd ap Nicholas Deheubarth was killed.
Following the battle Owen Tudor was beheaded in the Market Place. He was buried thereafter in Greyfriars Church in a tomb paid for by his son David Owen.

On May 1471 Roger Vaughan was captured by Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford.

Coronation of Henry VII

On 29 Oct 1485 Henry VII King England and Ireland processed from Tower of London to Westminster Abbey. Ahead of him marched the heralds and serjeants-at-arms, the Esquire of the Body, the King's Secretary Richard Fox, almoner Christopher Urswick, the mayor of London and the Garter King of Arms. Also ahead of him were Thomas Stanley 1st Earl Derby, John Pole 1st Earl Lincoln, John Vere 13th Earl Oxford and William Berkeley 1st Marquess Berkeley. Following behind were the only two Dukes: Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford, created the day before, and John Pole 2nd Duke Suffolk. .

On 07 Nov 1485 Jasper Tudor 1st Duke Bedford and Catherine Woodville Duchess Buckingham, Duchess Bedford were married. Catherine Woodville Duchess Buckingham, Duchess Bedford by marriage Earl Pembroke (7C 1452).
