Adelaide Chetwynd-Talbot Countess Brownlow was born to Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury and Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford.
In 1828 [her father] Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 24) and [her mother] Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford (age 20) were married. She the daughter of Henry de la Poer Beresford 2nd Marquess Waterford and Susan Hussey Carpenter Marchioness Waterford. He the son of Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 2nd Earl Talbot (age 50) and Frances Thomasine Lambart Countess Talbot.
On 10 Jan 1849 [her grandfather] Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 2nd Earl Talbot (age 71) died at Ingestre Hall, Staffordshire. His son [her father] Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 45) succeeded 3rd Earl Talbot, 3rd Viscount Ingestre. [her mother] Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford (age 41) by marriage Countess Talbot.
In 1856 Bertrand Arthur Talbot 17th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 24) died. His half eighth cousin [her father] Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 52) succeeded 18th Earl of Shrewsbury, 18th Earl Waterford.

On 20 Feb 1867 John William Spencer Brownlow Egerton-Cust 2nd Earl Brownlow (age 24) died in Mentone Italy. His brother [her future husband] Adelbert Wellington Brownlow Cust 3rd Earl Brownlow (age 22) succeeded 3rd Earl Brownlow, 3rd Viscount Alford, 4th Baron Brownlow of Belton in Lincolnshire, 7th Baronet Cust of Stamford in Lincolnshire, and inherited Belton House [Map].
In 1868 Adelbert Wellington Brownlow Cust 3rd Earl Brownlow (age 23) and Adelaide Chetwynd-Talbot Countess Brownlow were married. She by marriage Countess Brownlow. She the daughter of Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 64) and Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford (age 60).
On 04 Jun 1868 [her father] Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 64) died. His son [her brother] Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot (age 38) succeeded 19th Earl of Shrewsbury, 19th Earl Waterford, 4th Earl Talbot, 4th Viscount Ingestre.
