On 19 Aug 1694 Elizabeth Shirley Countess Northampton was born to Robert Shirley (age 20) and Anne Ferrers (age 16).

His daughter [her daughter] Charlotte Compton 16th Baroness Ferrers Chartley 7th Baroness Compton succeeded 7th Baroness Compton of Compton in Warwickshire.
