The date uncertain but likely to be after the funeral of Henry VIII (deceased) King Edward VI of England and Ireland (age 9) made a number of new appointments although given King Edward VI of England and Ireland (age 9) was only nine years old at the time, the titles were, in effect, bestowed by Edward Seymour 1st Duke Somerset (age 47).

William Parr 1st Marquess Northampton (age 35) was created 1st Marquess Northampton.

Thomas Seymour 1st Baron Seymour (age 39) was created 1st Baron Seymour of Sudeley and appointed Lord High Admiral.

In 1641 Francis Seymour 1st Baron Seymour Trowbridge (age 51) was created 1st Baron Seymour Trowbridge. Catherine Lee Baroness Seymour Trowbridge by marriage Baroness Seymour Trowbridge.

In 1654 Charles Seymour 2nd Baron Seymour Trowbridge (age 33) and Eizabeth Alington 2nd Baroness Seymour Trowbridge (age 18) were married. She by marriage Baroness Seymour Trowbridge. They had five sons and two daughters. They were fourth cousins. He a great x 4 grandson of King Henry VII of England and Ireland.

On 12 Jul 1664 Francis Seymour 1st Baron Seymour Trowbridge (age 74) died. He was buried in the Chanel of St Mary's Church, Great Bedwyn [Map]. His son Charles Seymour 2nd Baron Seymour Trowbridge (age 43) succeeded 2nd Baron Seymour Trowbridge.

On 25 Aug 1665 Charles Seymour 2nd Baron Seymour Trowbridge (age 44) died, possibly of plague. His son Francis Seymour 5th Duke Somerset (age 7) succeeded 3rd Baron Seymour Trowbridge.
