On 26 Jul 1538 George Talbot 4th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 70) died at Wingfield, Suffolk. He was buried at Sheffield Cathedral [Map]. On 03 Jun 1654 Alethea Talbot Countess Arundel, Surrey and Norfolk (age 69) died. Her grandson Thomas Howard 5th Duke of Norfolk (age 27) succeeded 14th Baron Furnivall, 18th Baron Strange Blackmere, 15th Baron Talbot.

On 13 Dec 1677 Thomas Howard 5th Duke of Norfolk (age 50) died in Padua unmarried. He had suffered mental disabilities all his life. On 20 Sep 1777 Edward Howard 9th Duke of Norfolk (age 91) died.
