In 1346 Gilbert Talbot 1st Baron Talbot (age 69) died. His son Richard Talbot 2nd Baron Talbot (age 41) succeeded 2nd Baron Talbot. Elizabeth Comyn Baroness Talbot by marriage Baroness Talbot.
On 23 Oct 1356 Richard Talbot 2nd Baron Talbot (age 51) died. His son Gilbert Talbot 3rd Baron Talbot (age 24) succeeded 3rd Baron Talbot. Joan Stafford Baroness Cherleton and Talbot (age 12) by marriage Baroness Talbot.
On 24 Apr 1386 Gilbert Talbot 3rd Baron Talbot (age 54) died at Roales del Pan. His son Richard Talbot 7th Baron Strange Blackmere 4th Baron Talbot (age 25) succeeded 4th Baron Talbot. Ankaret Strange 7th Baroness Strange Blackmere, Baroness Talbot (age 25) by marriage Baroness Talbot.
On 07 Sep 1396 Richard Talbot 7th Baron Strange Blackmere 4th Baron Talbot (age 35) died in London. His son Gilbert Talbot 8th Baron Strange Blackmere 5th Baron Talbot (age 13) succeeded 8th Baron Strange Blackmere, 5th Baron Talbot.
Before 1416 Gilbert Talbot 8th Baron Strange Blackmere 5th Baron Talbot (age 33) and Joan Plantagenet Baroness Strange, and Talbot were married. She by marriage Baroness Strange Blackmere Baroness Talbot. She the daughter of Thomas of Woodstock 1st Duke of Gloucester and Eleanor Bohun Duchess Gloucester. They were second cousin once removed. He a great x 3 grandson of King Edward "Longshanks" I of England. She a granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
On 19 Oct 1419 Gilbert Talbot 8th Baron Strange Blackmere 5th Baron Talbot (age 36) died. His daughter Ankaret Talbot 9th Baroness Strange Blackmere 6th Baroness Talbot (age 3) succeeded 9th Baroness Strange Blackmere, 6th Baroness Talbot.
On 13 Dec 1421 Ankaret Talbot 9th Baroness Strange Blackmere 6th Baroness Talbot (age 5) died. Her uncle John "Old Talbot" Talbot 1st Earl of Shrewsbury (age 38) succeeded 10th Baron Strange Blackmere, 7th Baron Talbot. Maud Neville 6th Baroness Furnivall (age 28) by marriage Baroness Strange Blackmere, Baroness Talbot.
On 06 Sep 1425 John "Old Talbot" Talbot 1st Earl of Shrewsbury (age 42) and Margaret Beauchamp Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford (age 21) were married. She by marriage Baroness Strange Blackmere, Baroness Talbot. The difference in their ages was 21 years. She the daughter of Richard Beauchamp 13th Earl Warwick (age 43) and Elizabeth Berkeley Countess Warwick. They were second cousin twice removed. John "Old Talbot" Talbot 1st Earl of Shrewsbury (age 70) was killed. His grandson Thomas Talbot 2nd Viscount Lisle (age 4) succeeded 2nd Viscount Lisle, 2nd Baron Lisle. Robert Hungerford 3rd Baron Hungerford 1st Baron Moleyns (age 22) and John Foix 1st Earl Kendal (age 43) were captured.
On 10 Jul 1460 the Yorkist army led by the future King Edward IV of England (age 18) and including Richard "Kingmaker" Neville Earl Warwick, 6th Earl Salisbury (age 31), Archbishop George Neville (age 28), William Neville 1st Earl Kent (age 55), Edmund Grey 1st Earl Kent (age 43), Edward Brooke 6th Baron Cobham (age 45) and John Scrope 5th Baron Scrope of Bolton (age 22) defeated the Lancastrian army at the 1460 Battle of Northampton.
King Henry VI of England and II of France (age 38) was captured.

William Lucy (age 56) was killed apparently by a member of the Stafford family who wanted his wife Margaret Fitzlewis (age 21).

William Beaumont 2nd Viscount Beaumont (age 22) and William Norreys (age 19) were knighted.
Thomas "Bastard of Exeter" Holland was executed following the battle.
The battle was fought south of the Northampton, Northamptonshire [Map] River Nene in the grounds of Delapré Abbey.
On 28 Jun 1473 John Talbot 3rd Earl of Shrewsbury (age 24) died at Coventry [Map]. He was buried at Lady Chapel, Worksop Priory. On 13 Dec 1677 Thomas Howard 5th Duke of Norfolk (age 50) died in Padua unmarried. He had suffered mental disabilities all his life. His brother Henry Howard 6th Duke of Norfolk (age 49) succeeded 6th Duke Norfolk, 24th Earl Arundel Sussex, 7th Earl Surrey, 4th Earl Norfolk, 18th Baron Segrave, 19th Baron Strange Blackmere, 17th Baron Mowbray, 16th Baron Talbot, 15th Baron Furnivall, 14th Baron Maltravers, 14th Baron Arundel. Jane Bickerton Duchess Norfolk (age 34) by marriage Duchess Norfolk. The marriage being so unpopular with his family they went abroad for some time.
On 13 Jan 1684 Henry Howard 6th Duke of Norfolk (age 55) died.
