Thomas Grey 15th Baron Grey Wilton 1576-1614 (27) was sentenced to death, attainted, and imprisoned in the Tower of London.

Diary of Anne Clifford Chapter VI The Early Days of Anne. . Later on, the Court seems to have gone to Basingstoke, and Lady Cumberland (43) and her daughter (13) and Lady Bath went to reside at Sir Francis Palme's (49) house, Launce Levell, but they often went to Basingstoke to see the Queen (28) and Lady Arabella (28), who was then with her. "Now was my Lady Ritch (40) growen great with the Queene," she says, " in so much as my Lady of Bedford was somethinge out with hir, and when she came to Hampton Court was entertayned but even indifferentlie and yet continued to be of the bedchamber."

Christening of Princess Mary Stuart

On 05 May 1605 Princess Mary Stewart 1605-1607 was christened at the Palace of Placentia. Elizabeth Vere Countess Derby 1575-1627 (29) carried the child. The infant's clothing, a train of purple velvet, embroidered with gold and furred with Ermines, was supported by two countesses, being so long that it fell to the ground. Richard Bancroft Archibishop Canterbury 1544-1610 (60) performed the christening. The Queen's (30) brother Prince Ulrik Oldenburg 1578-1624 (26), the King's (38) first cousin Arbella Stewart 1575-1615 (30) and Dorothy Devereux Countess Northumberland 1564-1619 (41) were godparents. Tethy's Festival Masque

On 05 Jun 1610 the Tethy's Festival Masque was performed at Whitehall Palace to celebrate the the investiture of Prince Frederick (16) as Prince of Wales. The script was written by Samuel Daniel at the request of the Queen (35), who appeared in person as Tethys a goddess of the sea. Inigo Jones Architect 1573-1652 (36) designed the staging and scenery.
