Church of St Hychan Llanychan is in Llanychan.

1254. The Church of St Hychan [Map] is first mentioned in 1254. The dedication is to St Hychan, thought to have been related to Brychan Brycheiniog. The church was extensively restored in 1877-8 by Arthur Baker, architect, of Kensington, at a cost of £700 paid for by John Taber of Clwyd Hall. The vestry was added; the roof restored; the north windows were made uniform with that at south-east, and the porch was rebuilt. The east window is by J Dudley Forsyth.

1935. Church of St Hychan Llanychan [Map]. Monument to Joseph Crosland Graham (age 68) and Marah Bond Robinson, and their son Alan Crosland Graham (age 38). Sculpted by Leonard Stanford Merrifield (age 55).

Marah Bond Robinson: On 10 Feb 1861 she was born. Around Aug 1895 Joseph Crosland Graham and she were married. On 03 Jul 1927 she died at Clwyd Hall Ruthin.

Alan Crosland Graham: On 02 Aug 1896 he was born to Joseph Crosland Graham and Marah Bond Robinson. On 1929 Joseph Crosland Graham and Violet Kathleen Brinkley were married at St Asaph. His son Alan Crosland Graham and her mother Evelyn Everard Hutton were witnesses, and possibly her sister Maud Agatha Brinkley. Her father was deceased before the 1901 Census. The difference in their ages was 28 years. On 10 May 1964 he died.

Violet Kathleen Brinkley: On 17 Feb 1895 she was born to Charles Michael Edgeworth Brinkley and Evelyn Everard Hutton at Tongham, Surrey. On 21 Dec 1985 she died.
