In 725 King Æthelbert II of Kent was born to King Wihtred of Kent (age 55).

On 23rd April 725 [his father] King Wihtred of Kent (age 55) died. His son [his brother] Eadbert succeeded King of Kent. He may have eigned with his brothers King Æthelbert II of Kent and [his brother] King Alric of Kent.

In 748 [his brother] King Eadbert I of Kent died. His brother Æthelbert (age 23) succeeded King of Kent.

Anglo-Saxon Chronicle. 748. This year was slain Cynric, etheling of the West-Saxons; [his brother] Edbert, King of Kent, died; and Ethelbert (age 23), son of [his father] King Wihtred, succeeded to the kingdom.

Anglo-Saxon Chronicle. 762. This year died Ethelbert (age 37), King of Kent, who was the son of [his father] King Wihtred, and also of Ceolwulf.

In 762 King Æthelbert II of Kent (age 37) died.
