Paternal Family Tree: Gardner
On 05 Feb 1770 Alan Hyde Gardner 2nd Baron Gardner was born to Alan Gardner 1st Baron Gardner (age 27).
On 09 Mar 1796 Alan Hyde Gardner 2nd Baron Gardner (age 26) and Maria Elizabeth Adderley Baroness Gardner (age 20) were married at either Fort George, Chennai, or Fort George, West Indies.
In 1805 Alan Hyde Gardner 2nd Baron Gardner (age 34) and Maria Elizabeth Adderley Baroness Gardner (age 29) were divorced. He discovered his wife's adultery and secret delivery of a child in June 1803. He brought about an ecclesiastical suit followed by an Act of Parliament citing her adultery with a Henry Jadis who fathered her son born in 1803, Henry Fenton Gardner, who was declared illegitimate by the House of Lords in 1825.
On 01 Jan 1809 [his father] Alan Gardner 1st Baron Gardner (age 66) died. His son Alan (age 38) succeeded 2nd Baron Gardner.
On 10 Apr 1809 Alan Hyde Gardner 2nd Baron Gardner (age 39) and Charlotte Elizabeth Smith Baroness Gardner were married. She by marriage Baroness Gardner.
On 29 Jan 1810 [his son] Alan Legge Gardner 3rd Baron Gardner was born to Alan Hyde Gardner 2nd Baron Gardner (age 39) and [his wife] Charlotte Elizabeth Smith Baroness Gardner.
On 29 Dec 1810 [his daughter] Charlotte Susannah Gardner was born to Alan Hyde Gardner 2nd Baron Gardner (age 40) and [his wife] Charlotte Elizabeth Smith Baroness Gardner.
Around Feb 1811 [his wife] Charlotte Elizabeth Smith Baroness Gardner died probably as a consequence of having given birth to two children [his son] Alan Legge Gardner 3rd Baron Gardner (age 1) and [his daughter] Charlotte Susannah Gardner, in January and December respectively the previous year.

His Royal Highness has also been pleased, in the name and on the behalf of His Majesty, to grant the dignities of Viscount and Earl of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, to the Right Honourable William Baron Beauchamp (age 68), of Powyke, and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten, by the names, stiles, and titles of Viscount Elmley, in the county of Worcester, and Earl of Beauchamp. His Royal Highness has also been pleased, in the name and on behalf of His Majesty to grant the dignity of a Viscount of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, to the Right Honourable Alan Hyde Lord Gardner (age 45), Vice-Admiral of the White Squadron of his Majesty's fleet, by the name, stile, and title of Viscount Gardner. [Note. He died before the patent had passed the Great Seal so the patent was null and void.]
On 22 Dec 1815 Alan Hyde Gardner 2nd Baron Gardner (age 45) died. His son [his son] Alan (age 5) succeeded 3rd Baron Gardner.
