Susan Harriet Innes-Kerr: On 13 Nov 1837 she was born to James Innes-Kerr 6th Duke Roxburghe. On 06 Aug 1857 James Grant-Suttie 6th Baronet and she were married. She the daughter of James Innes-Kerr 6th Duke Roxburghe. On 16 Oct 1909 Susan Harriet Innes-Kerr died. Her funeral was held on 21 Oct 1909 at Prestonpans Parish Church. All Prestonpans shops and businesses were closed from midday as a mark of respect, with residents of the town lining the streets as her funeral cortege passed by. Her body was then conveyed on a special train service to Dunbar where she was buried. The pallbearers at Dunbar included her sons-in-law, Sir Neil Menzies, Bart-the second husband of her daughter Susan and George Smith, her grandson Viscount Dalrymple, her nephew the Duke of Roxburghe, plus Lord Charles Innes Ker, Mr Robert Grant Suttie, Lord Montgomerie and Mr John Russel carried her coffin from the station to the churchyard. In 1911 a plaque to her memory was unveiled at Prestonpans Parish Church.
