On 24th June 1870 [his father] Thomas Percy Hudson aka Pemberton (age 37) and [his mother] Patience Frances Sophia Campbell (age 26) were married.
On 4th April 1885 Captain Francis Percy Campbell Pemberton was born to Thomas Percy Hudson aka Pemberton (age 52) and Patience Frances Sophia Campbell (age 41) at Gilling East Rectory.
In February 1907 Captain Francis Percy Campbell Pemberton (age 21) joined the 2nd Life Guards on probation in February, 1907, being gazetted 2nd Lieutenant on the 20th February, and Lieutenant on the 21st February, 1909.
In 1912 Captain Francis Percy Campbell Pemberton (age 26) was seconded as Cavalry Instructor to the Officers' Training Corps of Oxford and Cambridge Universities. He rejoined his regiment on the outbreak of the war.
On 30th April 1912 Captain Francis Percy Campbell Pemberton (age 27) and Winifred Mary Worsley (age 23) were married at Malton, North Yorkshire.
On 5th August 1914 Captain Francis Percy Campbell Pemberton (age 29) was promoted to Captain.
On 19th October 1914 Captain Francis Percy Campbell Pemberton (age 29) was killed in action at Moorslede, near Roulers, Belgium whilst serving with "C" Section. He was buried at Dadizeele New British Cemetery, Belgium, Grave VI. D. 17.
After 1921. Church of the Holy Cross, Gilling East [Map]. Memorial to [his father] Thomas Percy Hudson aka Pemberton (age 88) and his son Captain Francis Percy Campbell Pemberton.
Thomas Percy Hudson aka Pemberton: Around 1833 he was born. In 1870 he was appointed Rector of the Church of the Holy Cross, Gilling East [Map] which position he held until 1901. On 24th June 1870 he and Patience Frances Sophia Campbell were married. On 31st January 1921 he died at Trumpington Hall.
On 3rd April 1955 [his former wife] Winifred Mary Worsley (age 66) died.
