Around 1411 John Conyers was born to [his father] Christopher Conyers (age 18).
In or before 1433 John Conyers (age 21) and Margaret Darcy (age 14) were married.
Around 1433 [his daughter] Eleanor Conyers was born to John Conyers (age 22) and [his wife] Margaret Darcy (age 14). She married in or before 1480 Thomas Tunstall of Thursland Castle and had issue.
Around 1433 [his son] John Conyers was born to John Conyers (age 22) and [his wife] Margaret Darcy (age 14). He married Alice Neville, daughter of William Neville 1st Earl Kent and Joan Fauconberg Countess Kent, and had issue.
Around 1435 [his son] Richard Conyers was born to John Conyers (age 24) and [his wife] Margaret Darcy (age 16).
On 23rd September 1459 a Lancastrian army of James Tuchet 5th Baron Audley, 2nd Baron Tuchet (age 61) and John Sutton 1st Baron Dudley (age 58) fought with a Yorkist army commanded by Richard Neville Earl Salisbury (age 59) at Blore Heath, Staffordshire [Map] whilst he, Salisbury, was travelling to Ludlow [Map] to join up with the main Yorkist army. Forewarned by scouts Salisbury arranged his troops into battle order the night before, arranging his wagons defensively, and digging trenches.
The Yorkist army included John Conyers (age 48), Thomas Harrington (age 59), James Harrington (age 29), John Neville 1st Marquess Montagu (age 28), William Stanley (age 24), Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley (age 26), John Savile, Walter Strickland (age 48) and John Wenlock 1st Baron Wenlock (age 59).
The Lancastrian army included brothers John Dutton, Thomas Dutton (age 38) and Peter Dutton who were killed.
James Tuchet 5th Baron Audley, 2nd Baron Tuchet was killed, probably by Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley. His son John (age 33) succeeded 6th Baron Audley of Heighley in Staffordshire, 3rd Baron Tuchet. Anne Echingham Baroness Audley Heighley (age 39) by marriage Baroness Audley of Heighley in Staffordshire, Baroness Audley of Heighley in Staffordshire.
John Sutton 1st Baron Dudley and Edmund Sutton (age 34) were captured. Lionel Welles 6th Baron Welles (age 53) fought.
William Troutbeck (age 23), Richard Molyneux of Sefton and John Egerton (age 55) were killed.
After the battle Margaret of Anjou Queen Consort England (age 29) took refuge at Eccleshall Castle, Staffordshire [Map]. Thomas Harrington, John Neville 1st Marquess Montagu and Thomas Neville (age 29) were captured at Acton Bridge, Tarporley [Map] and imprisoned at Chester Castle [Map] having been detached from the main Yorkist force.

Around 1463 [his father] Christopher Conyers (age 70) died.
Before 1465 John Conyers (age 53) was retained by Richard Neville Earl Salisbury.
William of Worcester's Chronicle of England
William of Worcester, born around 1415, and died around 1482 was secretary to John Fastolf, the renowned soldier of the Hundred Years War, during which time he collected documents, letters, and wrote a record of events. Following their return to England in 1440 William was witness to major events. Twice in his chronicle he uses the first person: 1. when writing about the murder of Thomas, 7th Baron Scales, in 1460, he writes '… and I saw him lying naked in the cemetery near the porch of the church of St. Mary Overie in Southwark …' and 2. describing King Edward IV's entry into London in 1461 he writes '… proclaimed that all the people themselves were to recognize and acknowledge Edward as king. I was present and heard this, and immediately went down with them into the city'. William’s Chronicle is rich in detail. It is the source of much information about the Wars of the Roses, including the term 'Diabolical Marriage' to describe the marriage of Queen Elizabeth Woodville’s brother John’s marriage to Katherine, Dowager Duchess of Norfolk, he aged twenty, she sixty-five or more, and the story about a paper crown being placed in mockery on the severed head of Richard, 3rd Duke of York.

On 24th July 1469 the Yorkist army suffered a defeat against a Lancastrian army led by Robin of Redesdale at the Battle of Edgecote Moor. The Yorkist army was commanded by Humphrey Stafford 1st Earl Devon (age 30) and William Herbert 1st Earl Pembroke (age 46).
Thomas Vaughan (age 69), John Wogan, Henry Neville (age 32), [his son] John Conyers (age 36), and brothers John Dudley (age 42) and Oliver Dudley were killed.
Humphrey Stafford 1st Earl Devon, John Conyers (age 58) and William Parr (age 35) fought.
Richard Woodville 1st Earl Rivers (age 64) and John Woodville (age 24) were captured.
In or before 1480 [his son-in-law] Thomas Tunstall of Thursland Castle (age 46) and [his daughter] Eleanor Conyers (age 46) were married.
Around 1483 John Conyers (age 72) was appointed Knight of the Body to King Richard III of England (age 30).
Around 1484 John Conyers (age 73) was appointed 227th Knight of the Garter by King Richard III of England (age 31).
On 22nd August 1485 King Richard III of England (age 32) was killed during the Battle of Bosworth. His second cousin once removed Henry Tudor (age 28) succeeded VII King of England.
Humphrey Cotes (age 35) died. It isn't clear on which side he was fighting.

John Howard 1st Duke of Norfolk (age 60) was killed and attainted. He was buried firstly at Thetford Priory, Norfolk [Map] and therafter at Church of St Michael the Archangel, Framlingham [Map]. Duke Norfolk, Baron Mowbray, Baron Segrave, Baron Howard forfeit.
John Sacheverell (age 85) was killed.

Robert Poyntz (age 35) was knighted.

John Zouche 7th Baron Zouche Harringworth (age 26) was captured.
John Babington (age 62), William Alington (age 65), Robert Mortimer (age 43), Robert Brackenbury, Richard Ratclyffe (age 55) and Richard Bagot (age 73) were killed
Walter Devereux Baron Ferrers of Chartley (age 53) was killed.
William Catesby (age 35) was executed at Leicester, Leicestershire [Map] after the battle.
George Stanley 9th Baron Strange Knockin 5th Baron Mohun Dunster (age 25) held as a hostage by Richard III before the Battle of Bosworth.
Henry Percy 4th Earl of Northumberland (age 36) betrayed King Richard III of England by not committing his forces at the Battle of Bosworth.
John Iwardby (age 35) was killed.
