In 1481 John Grey 2nd Viscount Lisle was born to Edward Grey 1st Viscount Lisle (age 49) and Elizabeth Talbot Viscountess Lisle.
In 1487 [his mother] Elizabeth Talbot Viscountess Lisle died. Her son John Grey 2nd Viscount Lisle (age 6) succeeded 4th Baron Lisle.
On 17 Jul 1492 [his father] Edward Grey 1st Viscount Lisle (age 60) died at Astley, Warwickshire. He was buried at Church St Mary the Virgin, Astley. His son John Grey 2nd Viscount Lisle (age 11) succeeded 2nd Viscount Lisle.
Before 1504 John Grey 2nd Viscount Lisle (age 22) and Muriel Howard Viscountess Lisle (age 18) were married. She by marriage Viscountess Lisle. She the daughter of Thomas Howard 2nd Duke of Norfolk (age 60) and Elizabeth Tilney Countess of Surrey. They were third cousins.
In 1504 John Grey 2nd Viscount Lisle (age 23) died. Viscount Lisle extinct. Some sources suggest his daughter [his daughter] Elizabeth Grey Countess Devon inherited the Viscountcy whereas as others suggest she inherited the Barony only.
On 25 Mar 1505 [his daughter] Elizabeth Grey Countess Devon was born to John Grey 2nd Viscount Lisle and [his former wife] Muriel Howard Viscountess Lisle (age 20). Elizabeth Grey Countess Devon succeeded posthumously 5th Baroness Lisle.
Before 1508 Thomas Knyvet (age 22) and [his former wife] Muriel Howard Viscountess Lisle (age 22) were married. She the daughter of [his former father-in-law] Thomas Howard 2nd Duke of Norfolk (age 64) and Elizabeth Tilney Countess of Surrey. They were fourth cousins.
On 14 Dec 1511 [his former wife] Muriel Howard Viscountess Lisle (age 26) died.
