On 24th February 1743 Joseph Banks 1st Baronet was born to William Banks aka Hodgkinson (age 23).
In September 1761 [his father] William Banks aka Hodgkinson (age 42) died.
On 12th July 1771 Joseph Banks 1st Baronet (age 28) arrived back in England.

On 30th November 1778 Joseph Banks 1st Baronet (age 35) was elected President of the Royal Society which position he held for forty-one years.
In March 1779 Joseph Banks 1st Baronet (age 36) and Dorothea Hugessen were married. The lived at 32 Soho Square for the remainder of his life.
In 1781 Joseph Banks 1st Baronet (age 37) was created 1st Baronet Banks of Revesby Abbey.

On 19th June 1820 Joseph Banks 1st Baronet (age 77) died at Spring Grove House. Baronet Banks of Revesby Abbey extinct.
