Published March 2025. The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Before 25 Dec 1660 [her father] Henry Somerset 1st Duke Beaufort (age 31) and [her mother] Mary Capell Duchess Beaufort (age 30) were married. He the son of [her grandfather] Edward Somerset 2nd Marquess Worcester (age 58) and [her grandmother] Elizabeth Dormer.
In 1664 Mary Somerset Duchess Ormonde was born to Henry Somerset 1st Duke Beaufort (age 35) and Mary Capell Duchess Beaufort (age 33).
In 1682 [her future husband] James Butler 2nd Duke Ormonde (age 16) and Anne Hyde were married. She the daughter of Lawrence Hyde 1st Earl Rochester (age 39) and Henrietta Boyle Countess Rochester (age 36). He the son of Thomas Butler 6th Earl Ossory and [her future mother-in-law] Emilia Nassau Beverweert Countess Ossory (age 46).
In 1685 James Butler 2nd Duke Ormonde (age 19) and Mary Somerset Duchess Ormonde (age 21) were married. She the daughter of Henry Somerset 1st Duke Beaufort (age 56) and Mary Capell Duchess Beaufort (age 54). He the son of Thomas Butler 6th Earl Ossory and Emilia Nassau Beverweert Countess Ossory (age 49).
John Evelyn's Diary. 27 Oct 1685. I was invited to dine at Sir Ste. Fox's (age 58) with my Lord Lieutenant, where was such a dinner for variety of all things as I had seldome seene, and it was so for the trial of a master cooke whom Sir Stephen had recommended to go with his Lordship Into Ireland; there were all ye dainties not onely of the season, but of what art could add, venison, plaine solid meate, fowle, bak'd and boil'd meates, banquet [desert], &c. in exceeding plenty and exquisitely dress'd. There also din'd my [her husband] Lord Ossory (age 20) and Lady (the Duke of Beaufort's daughter) (age 21), my Lady Treasurer, Lord Cornbery (age 23), &c.
On 21 Jul 1688 James Butler 1st Duke Ormonde (age 77) died. His grandson [her husband] James (age 23) de jure 2nd Duke Ormonde, 2nd Marquess Ormonde, 13th Earl Ormonde, 6th Earl Ossory. Mary Somerset Duchess Ormonde (age 24) by marriage Duchess Ormonde.
On 22 Apr 1689 [her sister-in-law] Elizabeth Butler Countess Derby (age 29) was appointed Principal Lady in Waiting to Mary Stewart II Queen England Scotland and Ireland (age 26) as well as Groom of the Stool and Mistress of the Robes attracting a salary of £1200 per annum (£800 and £400 respectively).
In 1693 [her brother-in-law] Charles Butler 3rd Duke Ormond (age 21) was created 1st Earl Arran.

On 12 Jan 1697 Henry Nassau 1st Earl Grantham (age 24) and [her sister-in-law] Henrietta Butler Countess Grantham were married. She the daughter of Thomas Butler 6th Earl Ossory and [her mother-in-law] Emilia Nassau Beverweert Countess Ossory. They were first cousins.
In 1698 Henry Nassau 1st Earl Grantham (age 25) was created 1st Earl Grantham. [her sister-in-law] Henrietta Butler Countess Grantham by marriage Countess Grantham.
On 21 Jan 1700 [her father] Henry Somerset 1st Duke Beaufort (age 71) died at Badminton, Gloucestershire. He was buried at Beaufort Chapel, St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle [Map]. His grandson Henry (age 15) succeeded 2nd Duke Beaufort, 4th Marquess Worcester, 8th Earl Worcester, 10th Baron Herbert of Raglan.
On 03 Jun 1705 or 18 Sep 1721 [her brother-in-law] Charles Butler 3rd Duke Ormond (age 33) and Elizabeth Crew Countess Arran (age 26) were married. She by marriage Countess Arran. He the son of Thomas Butler 6th Earl Ossory and [her mother-in-law] Emilia Nassau Beverweert Countess Ossory.
On 21 Oct 1710 [her son-in-law] John Ashburnham 1st Earl Ashburnham (age 23) and [her daughter] Mary Butler Baroness Ashburnham were married. She by marriage Baroness Ashburnham of Ashburnham in Sussex. She the daughter of [her husband] James Butler 2nd Duke Ormonde (age 45) and Mary Somerset Duchess Ormonde (age 46).
In 1713 [her daughter] Mary Butler Baroness Ashburnham died.
On 07 Jan 1715 [her mother] Mary Capell Duchess Beaufort (age 84) died.
In 1717 [her sister-in-law] Elizabeth Butler Countess Derby (age 57) died. She was buried in the Duke of Ormonde Vault, King Henry VII Chapel, Westminster Abbey.
On 11 Oct 1724 [her sister-in-law] Henrietta Butler Countess Grantham died.
On 19 Nov 1733 Mary Somerset Duchess Ormonde (age 69) died. On 25 Nov 1733 she was buried in the Duke of Ormonde Vault, King Henry VII Chapel, Westminster Abbey.
On 16 Nov 1745 [her former husband] James Butler 2nd Duke Ormonde (age 80) died. His coffin-plate says 05 Nov 1645. He was buried in the Duke of Ormonde Vault, King Henry VII Chapel, Westminster Abbey. His brother [her former brother-in-law] Charles (age 74) de jure 3rd Duke Ormonde (he didn't claim the title since his brother the second duke had been attainted for supporting the Jacobite rebellion), 3rd Marquess Ormonde, 14th Earl Ormonde, 7th Earl Ossory.
[her daughter] Mary Butler Baroness Ashburnham was born to James Butler 2nd Duke Ormonde and Mary Somerset Duchess Ormonde.
