Biography of William Yonge 4th Baronet 1693-1755
On 21 Nov 1670 [his grandfather] Walter Yonge 2nd Baronet (age 45) died. His son [his father] Walter Yonge 3rd Baronet (age 17) succeeded 3rd Baronet Yonge of Colyton in Devon.
In 1677 [his father] Walter Yonge 3rd Baronet (age 24) and Gertrude Morice Lady Yonge (age 6) were married. She by marriage Lady Yonge of Colyton in Devon.
In 1691 [his father] Walter Yonge 3rd Baronet (age 38) and [his mother] Gwen Williams were married.
Around 1693 William Yonge 4th Baronet was born to Walter Yonge 3rd Baronet (age 40) and Gwen Williams.
In 1716 William Yonge 4th Baronet (age 23) and Mary Heathcote (age 19) were married.
In 1724 [his wife] Mary Heathcote (age 27) died.
In 1724 William Yonge 4th Baronet (age 31) and Mary Heathcote (age 27) were divorced. He had had a number extra-marital affairs. On discovering she had taken a lover he divorced her, keeping her dowry and most of her fortune, and sued her lover for damages.
After 1724 William Yonge 4th Baronet (age 31) and Anne Howard Lady Yonge were married.
On 17 Jul 1731 [his son] George Yonge 5th Baronet was born to William Yonge 4th Baronet (age 38) and [his wife] Anne Howard Lady Yonge.
On 18 Jul 1731 [his father] Walter Yonge 3rd Baronet (age 78) died. His son William Yonge 4th Baronet (age 38) succeeded 4th Baronet Yonge of Colyton in Devon. [his wife] Anne Howard Lady Yonge by marriage Lady Yonge of Colyton in Devon.

On 10 Aug 1755 William Yonge 4th Baronet (age 62) died at Escot Honiton, Devon. His son [his son] George Yonge 5th Baronet (age 24) succeeded 5th Baronet Yonge of Colyton in Devon.
On 12 Sep 1775 [his former wife] Anne Howard Lady Yonge died.
