She was baptisd at St George's Church, Hanover Square on 30th July 1767. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.

On 22nd March 1768 Laurence Sterne (deceased) was buried in the churchyard of St George's Church, Hanover Square. It was widely rumoured that Sterne's body was stolen shortly after it was interred and sold to anatomists at Cambridge University. Circumstantially, it was said that his body was recognised by Charles Collignon, who knew him, and discreetly reinterred back in St George's, in an unknown plot. When the churchyard of St. George's was redeveloped in 1969, amongst 11,500 skulls disinterred, several were identified with drastic cuts from anatomising or a post-mortem examination. One was identified to be of a size that matched a bust of Sterne made by Nollekens. His remains were transferred to Coxwold churchyard [Map] in 1969 by the Laurence Sterne Trust.

The marriage of the Earl of Coventry (age 26) and Lady Blanche Craven (age 22), third daughter of Earl Craven (age 55), was solemnized yesterday morning at St. George's Church, Hanover-square. The bridegroom and the friends of both families assembled at the church at 11 o'clock, and shortly afterwards were joined by the bride, accompanied by her mother, the Countess Craven (age 48). The Hon. and Rev. Edward Grimston (age 52), uncle of the bride, performed the religious rite. After the registration of the marriage the wedding party left the church, and procceded to the Earl and Countess Craven's mansion in Charles-street, Mayfair. At 2 o'clock the newly-wedded couple took their departure for Croome Court, the Earl of Coventry's seat, near Upton-upon-Severn, Worcestershire [Map], there to pass the honeymoon. At Croome Pirton and Severn Stoke, Worcestershire, the marriage was celebrated yesterday by the tenantry and neighbours of the Earl of Coventry. The tenantry of the Crome Pirton and Severn Stoke estates, to ths number of about 100, dined together in two parties yesterday at Severn Stoke and High-green. At Pirton and Severn Stoke garlands of evergreens and flags were hung out over the roads, and at night a bonfire was lighted at High-green. The rejoicings have extended over all his Lordship's large estates in the southern portion of Worcestershire. The inhabitants of Worcester [Map] celebrated the marriage by hoisting flags from tile windows and streamers across the streets. The bells from the various churches rang merry peals all day.

Olive Eleanor Custance: On 7th February 1874 she was born to Frederick Hambleton Custance at 12 John Street Mayfair. On 12th February 1944 Olive Eleanor Custance died.

Edith Douglas: In 1874 she was born to John Sholto Douglas 9th Marquess Queensberry. In 1899 St George Lane Fox-Pitt and she were married. He the son of Augustus Henry Fox Pitt-Rivers and Alice Margaret Stanley. In 1963 Edith Douglas died.

On 9th June 1903 Mervyn Wingfield 8th Viscount Powerscourt (age 23) and Sybil Pleydell-Bouverie Viscountess Powerscout (age 24) were married at St George's Church, Hanover Square.

In July 1903 Arthur Ernest Guinness (age 26) and Marie Clothilde Russell were married at St George's Church, Hanover Square. He the son of Edward Guiness 1st Earl Iveagh (age 55) and Adelaide "Dodo" Guinness (age 59).

The marriage of Viscount Acheson, elder son of the Earl (age 68) and Countess of Gosford (age 54), and Miss Mildred Carter, only daughter of Mr. J. Ridgely Carter (age 46), American Minister to Rumania, and Mrs. Ridgely Carter (age 45), took place yesterday at St. George's, Hanover-square. The Sub-Dean of the Chapels Royal (the Rev. Edgar Sheppard, D.D.) performed the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. David Anderson and other clergy, and Mr. Ridgely Carter gave his daughter away. She wore a very simple wedding gown of soft white satin with a long train draped with old point de Venise, and a Venetian lace cap over a spray of myrtle and orange blossom, covered by a plain tulle veil. Master David Stanley, Master Julian Ward, and Miss Diana Roberts, dressed all in white, followed the bride, and there were seven bridesmaids, Lady Theo Acheson (age 28) (sister of the bridegroom), Lady Victoria Stanley, Mlle. Irene deo La Grange, Miss Canilla Morgan, the Hon. Rhoda Astley, Miss Elsie Nicholl, and Miss Marian Scranton, who wore white chiffon dresses with draped bodices and wreaths of myrtle beneath tulle veils. They also wore diamond neckislides and carried loose bunches of red roses. The Hon. Patrick Acheson (age 26) was best man to his brother.
