On 6th May 1631 Robert Bruce Cotton 1st Baronet (age 60) died. His son Thomas (age 37) succeeded 2nd Baronet Cotton of Conington in Huntingdonshire.

Before 2nd May 1644 Thomas Cotton 2nd Baronet (age 50) and Alice Constable Lady Cotton (age 31) were married. She by marriage Lady Cotton of Conington in Huntingdonshire.

On 16th May 1662 Thomas Cotton 2nd Baronet (age 68) died. His son John (age 41) succeeded 3rd Baronet Cotton of Conington in Huntingdonshire.

Lucy Cotton Lady Woodhouse: she was born to Thomas Cotton 2nd Baronet and Margaret Howard. On 10th July 1634 Philip Wodehouse 3rd Baronet and she were married. They were fifth cousins. In 1684 Lucy Cotton Lady Woodhouse died.

On 12th September 1702 John Cotton 3rd Baronet (age 81) died in Stratton, Bedfordshire. His grandson John (age 22) succeeded 4th Baronet Cotton of Conington in Huntingdonshire.

On 5th February 1731 John Cotton 4th Baronet (age 51) died. His uncle Robert (age 53) succeeded 5th Baronet Cotton of Conington in Huntingdonshire.

On 12th July 1749 Robert Bruce Cotton 5th Baronet (age 71) died. His son John (age 9) succeeded 6th Baronet Cotton of Conington in Huntingdonshire.
