In 1622 John Garrard 1st Baronet (age 32) was created 1st Baronet Garrard of Lamer. Elizabeth Barkham Lady Garrard (age 29) by marriage Lady Garrard of Lamer.
In 1637 John Garrard 1st Baronet (age 47) died. His son John (age 23) succeeded 2nd Baronet Garrard of Lamer.
In 1686 John Garrard 2nd Baronet (age 72) died. His son John (age 48) succeeded 3rd Baronet Garrard of Lamer.
On 13th January 1701 John Garrard 3rd Baronet (age 63) died without male issue. He was buried at St Helen's Church, Wheathampstead. His brother Samuel (age 51) succeeded 4th Baronet Garrard of Lamer.
On 10th March 1724 Samuel Garrard 4th Baronet (age 74) died. He was buried at St Helen's Church, Wheathampstead. His son Samuel (age 31) succeeded 5th Baronet Garrard of Lamer.
On 1st December 1761 Samuel Garrard 5th Baronet (age 69) died. His brother Benet (age 57) succeeded 6th Baronet Garrard of Lamer.
On 1st July 1767 Benet Garrard 6th Baronet (age 63) died. Baronet Garrard of Lamer extinct.

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: "In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed." On 16th August 1662 Jacob Garrard 1st Baronet (age 75) was created 1st Baronet Garrard of Langford in Norfolk. Mary Jennings Lady Garrard by marriage Lady Garrard of Langford in Norfolk.
In or before 1666 Jacob Garrard 1st Baronet (age 79) died. His son Thomas (age 38) succeeded 2nd Baronet Garrard of Langford in Norfolk.
In or shortly before 1690 Thomas Garrard 2nd Baronet (age 62) died. His son Nicholas (age 34) succeeded 3rd Baronet Garrard of Langford in Norfolk.
On 12th March 1727 Nicholas Garrard 3rd Baronet (age 72) died. Baronet Garrard of Langford in Norfolk extinct.
