Published March 2025. The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 28 Jan 1571 Anne Bourchier 7th Baroness Bourchier (age 54) died from a fall from a horse at Benington, Hertfordshire. Her first cousin twice removed Walter (age 29) succeeded 8th Baron Bourchier. Lettice Knollys Countess Essex (age 27) by marriage Baroness Bourchier.
On 24 Mar 1603 Elizabeth I (age 69) died at Richmond Palace [Map] around three in the morning. Her first cousin twice removed James (age 36) succeeded I King England Scotland and Ireland.
Immediately following her death Robert Carey 1st Earl Monmouth (age 43) started on horseback for Edinburgh to inform King James I of England and Ireland and VI of Scotland arriving at Holyrood Palace [Map] late on the 26 Mar 1603. His conduct met with general disapproval and merited censure as contrary to all decency, good manners and respect. George Carew and Thomas Lake (age 35) were sent by the Council to formally inform James of her death.
On 04 Aug 1637 Henry Stafford 5th Baron Stafford (age 15) died. His first cousin twice removed Roger (age 65) succeeded 6th Baron Stafford. His succession was disputed. Roger petitioned Parliament for the title, at the age of sixty-five. A commission was appointed to examine his claim, headed by Henry Montagu, 1st Earl of Manchester. Eventually, the claim reached King Charles I who denied it on grounds of Stafford's poverty. The judgment read "that the said Roger Stafford, having no part of the inheritance of the said Lord Stafford, nor any other lands or means whatsoever…should make a resignation of all claims and title to the said Barony of Stafford, for his majesty to dispose of as he should see fit". He surrendered the title by deed on 7 December 1639 for a sum of £800

On 31 Aug 1700 William Savile 2nd Marquess Halifax (age 35) died without male issue. Marquess Halifax, Earl Halifax, Viscount Halifax and Baron Savile of Elland extinct. His first cousin twice removed John (age 50) succeeded 6th Baronet Savile of Thornhill
In 1728 Charles Englefield 5th Baronet (age 58) died. His first cousin twice removed Henry succeeded 6th Baronet Englefield of Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire.
In 1743 Mordaunt Lawson 5th Baronet (age 10) died. His first cousin twice removed Gilfrid (age 68) succeeded 6th Baronet Lawson of Isel Hall in Cumbria.
In 1745 Martha Lovelace 8th Baroness Wentworth (age 78) died. Her first cousin twice removed Edward (age 29) succeeded 9th Baron Wentworth. Her first cousin twice removed Edward de jure 13th Baron Despencer.
On 02 Sep 1760 Henry L'Estrange 6th Baronet died. His first cousin twice removed Roger (age 78) succeeded 7th Baronet Strange of Hunstanton in Norfolk.
In 1841 John Twisden 8th Baronet (age 57) died. His first cousin twice removed William (age 22) succeeded 9th Baronet Twisden of Bradbourne in Kent although he appears to not have used the title.
On 17 Aug 1922 Edward Pellew 5th Viscount Exmouth (age 31) died. His first cousin twice removed Henry (age 94) succeeded 6th Viscount Exmouth, 6th Baron Exmouth of Canonteign, 6th Baronet Pellew of Treverry in Cornwall. He died six months later.
On 27 May 1942 Mary Thicknesse-Touchet 22nd Baroness Audley (age 83) died unmarried. Her first cousin twice removed Thomas (age 28) succeeded 23rd Baron Audley of Heighley in Staffordshire.
In 1943 Francis Henry Rivers Astley-Corbett 5th Baronet (age 28) was killed in action. His first cousin twice removed Francis (age 34) succeeded 6th Baronet Astley of Everleigh in Wiltshire.
On 28 Jun 1962 Henry Paulet 16th Marquess of Winchester (age 99) died. His first cousin twice removed Richard (age 57) succeeded 17th Marquess Winchester, 17th Earl Wiltshire, 17th Baron St John.
On 05 Feb 1984 Henry Hugh Arthur Fitzroy Somerset 10th Duke Beaufort (age 83) died at Badminton House without issue. He was buried at St Michael and all Angels Church, Badminton. His first cousin twice removed David (age 55) succeeded 11th Duke Beaufort, 13th Marquess Worcester, 17th Earl Worcester, 19th Baron Herbert of Raglan. Baron Botetort abeyant.
