Published March 2025. The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 7th June 1696 [her father] Frederick Saxe Coburg Altenburg II Duke Saxe Gotha Altenburg (age 19) and [her mother] Magdalena Augusta Anhalt Zerbst Anhaltzerbst Duchess Saxe Gotha Altenburg were married. She by marriage Duchess Saxe Gotha Altenburg. He the son of [her grandfather] Frederick Saxe Coburg Altenburg I Duke Saxe Gotha Altenburg and [her grandmother] Duchess Magdalena Sibylle of Saxe Gotha Altenburg.

On 30th November 1719 Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg was born to Frederick Saxe Coburg Altenburg II Duke Saxe Gotha Altenburg (age 43) and Magdalena Augusta Anhalt Zerbst Anhaltzerbst Duchess Saxe Gotha Altenburg at Gotha.

On 23rd March 1732 [her father] Frederick Saxe Coburg Altenburg II Duke Saxe Gotha Altenburg (age 55) died at Altenburg. His son [her brother] Duke (age 32) succeeded III Duke Saxe Gotha Altenburg. Luise Dorothea Saxe Meiningen Duchess Saxe Gotha Altenburg (age 21) by marriage Duchess Saxe Gotha Altenburg.

On 8th May 1736 Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales (age 29) and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 16) were married. She the daughter of Frederick Saxe Coburg Altenburg II Duke Saxe Gotha Altenburg and Magdalena Augusta Anhalt Zerbst Anhaltzerbst Duchess Saxe Gotha Altenburg. He the son of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland (age 52) and Caroline Hohenzollern Queen Consort England (age 53). They were fifth cousins.

On 31st July 1737 [her daughter] Princess Augusta Charlotte Hanover was born to [her husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales (age 30) and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 17). She a granddaughter of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.

On 4th June 1738 [her son] King George III of Great Britain and Ireland was born to [her husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales (age 31) and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 18) at Norfolk House, St James' Square. He a grandson of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.

On 25th March 1739 [her son] Prince Edward Hanover 1st Duke of York was born to [her husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales (age 32) and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 19). He a grandson of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.

On 8th May 1740 Frederick Hesse-Kassel (age 19) and [her sister-in-law] Mary Hanover (age 17) were married. She the daughter of [her father-in-law] King George II (age 56). She the daughter of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland and [her mother-in-law] Caroline Hohenzollern Queen Consort England. He the son of William Hesse-Kassel (age 58). They were fourth cousins.

On 10th January 1741 [her daughter] Elizabeth Hanover was born to [her husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales (age 33) and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 21). She a granddaughter of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.

On 25th November 1743 [her son] William Henry Hanover 1st Duke Gloucester and Edinburgh was born to [her husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales (age 36) and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 23). He a grandson of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.

On 11th December 1743 Frederick V King Denmark and Norway (age 20) and [her sister-in-law] Louise Hanover Queen Consort Denmark and Norway (age 18) were married. She by marriage Queen Consort Denmark and Norway. She the daughter of [her father-in-law] King George II of Great Britain and Ireland (age 60) and [her mother-in-law] Caroline Hohenzollern Queen Consort England. He the son of Christian VI King Denmark and Norway (age 44). They were third cousin once removed.

Battle of Fontenoy

On 11th May 1745 the allied army commanded by [her brother-in-law] William Augustus Hanover 1st Duke Cumberland (age 24) was defeated by a French army at the Battle of Fontenay.

George Cholmondeley (age 20), George Keppel 3rd Earl Albermarle (age 21), Joseph Yorke 1st Baron Dover (age 20) and John Waldegrave 3rd Earl Waldegrave (age 27) fought.

Henry Ponsonby (age 60), James Dillon and Robert Douglas were killed.

George Sackville aka Germain 1st Viscount Sackville (age 29) led the charge of the Duke of Cumberland's infantry leading his regiment so deep into the French lines that when he was wounded and captured he was taken to the tent of Louis XV.

Louis 6th Duke of Gramont (age 55) was killed. His son Antoine (age 23) succeeded 7th Duke Gramont.

On 7th November 1745 [her son] Henry Frederick Hanover 1st Duke Cumberland and Strathearn was born to [her husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales (age 38) and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 25) at Leicester House. He a grandson of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.

Battle of Culloden

On 16th April 1746 an English army commanded by [her brother-in-law] William Augustus Hanover 1st Duke Cumberland (age 24) and John Mordaunt (age 37) defeated the Scottish army of Charles Edward "Bonnie Prince Charlie" Stewart (age 25) at the Battle of Culloden bring to an end the Jacobite Rising of 1745.

Bluett Wallop (age 19) fought.

Robert Kerr was killed.

William Boyd 4th Earl Kilmarnock (age 40) was captured.

Alexander Bannerman 3rd Baronet fought and escapted to France where he died a year later.

Around 1747 Joseph Yorke 1st Baron Dover (age 22) was appointed Aide-de-Camp to [her brother-in-law] William Augustus Hanover 1st Duke Cumberland (age 25).

On 19th March 1749 [her daughter] Louisa Hanover was born to [her husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales (age 42) and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 29). She a granddaughter of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.

On 13th May 1750 [her son] Frederick Hanover was born to [her husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales (age 43) and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 30). He a grandson of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.

On 31st March 1751 [her husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales (age 44) died at Leicester House.

On 11th July 1751 [her daughter] Caroline Matilda Hanover Queen Consort Denmark and Norway was born to [her former husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 31). She a granddaughter of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.

In 1758 George Paulett 12th Marquess Winchester (age 35) was appointed Gentleman Usher to [her former husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales and Augusta, Dowager Princess of Wales (age 38) which office he held until her death in 1772.

1st June 1759. Kew Bridge [Map] is a bridge over the River Thames. The original bridge was constructed before 1759. The first bridge was built by Robert Tunstall of Brentford who previously owned the ferry on the site. The bridge was inaugurated on 1 June 1759 by the [her son] Prince of Wales (age 20) driving over it with his mother (age 39) and a number of other royals, and was opened to the public three days later.

On 4th September 1759 [her daughter] Elizabeth Hanover (age 18) died.

On 8th September 1761 [her son] King George III of Great Britain and Ireland (age 23) and [her daughter-in-law] Charlotte Mecklenburg Strelitz Queen Consort England (age 17) were married at Chapel Royal, St James's Palace. She by marriage Queen Consort England. He the son of [her former husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 41). They were third cousins. He a grandson of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.

In 1764 [her son-in-law] Charles William Ferdinand Brunswick Bevern (age 28) and [her daughter] Princess Augusta Charlotte Hanover (age 26) were married. She the daughter of [her former husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 44).

On 29th December 1765 [her son] Frederick Hanover (age 15) died.

In 1766 [her son] William Henry Hanover 1st Duke Gloucester and Edinburgh (age 22) and [her daughter-in-law] Maria Walpole Duchess Gloucester and Edinburgh (age 29) were married in secret at Pall Mall [Map]. On 8th November 1766 [her son-in-law] Christian VII King Denmark and Norway (age 17) and [her daughter] Caroline Matilda Hanover Queen Consort Denmark and Norway (age 15) were married at Christiansborg Castle. She by marriage Queen Consort Denmark and Norway. She the daughter of [her former husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 46). He the son of Frederick V King Denmark and Norway and [her former sister-in-law] Louise Hanover Queen Consort Denmark and Norway. They were first cousins. On 17th September 1767 [her son] Prince Edward Hanover 1st Duke of York (age 28) died at York Room, Prince's Palace. Duke of York and Albany extinct.

On 13th May 1768 [her daughter] Louisa Hanover (age 19) died.

In 1771 [her son] Henry Frederick Hanover 1st Duke Cumberland and Strathearn (age 25) and [her daughter-in-law] Anne Luttrell Duchess Cumberland and Strathearn (age 27) were married. She by marriage Duchess Cumberland and Strathearn. She the daughter of Simon Luttrell 1st Earl Carhampton (age 58) and Judith Maria Lawes Countess Carhampton (age 51). He the son of [her former husband] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales and Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 51).
