Published March 2025. The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Between 13 Jun 1793 and 28 Jul 1793 the French garrison at Valciennes under Jean Henri Becays Ferrand was blockaded by part of the army of Prince Frederick Josias Saxe Coburg Saalfeld (age 55), commanded by the Prince Frederick Hanover Duke of York (age 29).
On 24 Dec 1793 [his brother-in-law] Frederick William III King Prussia (age 23) and Queen Louise of Prussia (age 17) were married. He the son of [his father-in-law] Frederick William II King Prussia (age 49) and Queen Frederica Louisa of Prussia (age 42). They were half second cousins. Monument to Prince Frederick Hanover Duke of York. Sculpted by Thomas Campbell and unveiled in 1836.
The inscription on the front (south) face reads "Field Marshal his Royal Highness Frederick Duke of York and Albany, K.G. Commander in Chief of the British Army, MDCCCXXVII". On the rear (north) an inscription simply states "Erected MDCCCXXXVI".
