In 1513 [his father] Thomas Howard 3rd Duke of Norfolk [aged 40] and [his mother] Elizabeth Stafford Duchess Norfolk [aged 16] were married. The difference in their ages was 24 years. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Edward Stafford 3rd Duke of Buckingham [aged 34] and [his grandmother] Eleanor Percy Duchess Buckingham. Another coup for the Howard Family especially in view of Henry Fitzroy being considered by some as a possible heir in view of Anne Boleyn having given birth to a girl. On 6th July 1537 Robert Constable [aged 59] was hanged in chains from the Beverley Gate in Kingston upon Hull witnessed by [his father] Thomas Howard 3rd Duke Norfolk [aged 64].
