Before 1783 [his father] Booth Grey [aged 42] and [his mother] Elizabeth Mainwaring were married. He the son of [his grandfather] Henry Grey 4th Earl Stamford and [his grandmother] Mary Booth Countess Stamford.

On 12th April 1783 Booth Grey was born to Booth Grey [aged 42] and Elizabeth Mainwaring.

Around 1795 Booth Grey [aged 11] educated at Eton College [Map].

In 1800 Booth Grey [aged 16] was educated at Brasenose College, Oxford University.

On 4th March 1802 [his father] Booth Grey [aged 61] died.

On 21st October 1809 Booth Grey [aged 26] and Sophia Grey [aged 32] were married. She the daughter of George Grey 5th Earl Stamford 1st Earl Warrington [aged 72] and Henrietta Bentinck Countess Stamford and Warrington [aged 72]. They were first cousins.

In 1811 Booth Grey [aged 27] was appointed High Sheriff of Cheshire.

On 26th April 1845 [his brother-in-law] George Grey 6th Earl Stamford 2nd Earl Warrington [aged 79] died. His grandson George [aged 18] succeeded 7th Earl Stamford, 3rd Earl Warrington, 9th Baron Grey of Groby, 3rd Baron Delamer.

In 1849 [his wife] Sophia Grey [aged 72] died.
