In December 1631 [his father] Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet [aged 23] and [his mother] Jane Rolle Lady Carew were married at St Petroc's Church, Petrockstowe [Map]. She being his step-aunt, sister of his step-mother [his aunt] Grace Rolle Lady Rolle [aged 38].
On 6th November 1635 John Carew 3rd Baronet was born to Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet [aged 27] and Jane Rolle Lady Carew.
On 14th March 1643 [his grandfather] Richard Carew 1st Baronet [aged 63] died. His son [his father] Alexander [aged 34] succeeded 2nd Baronet Carew of Antony in Cornwall. [his mother] Jane Rolle Lady Carew by marriage Lady Carew of Antony in Cornwall.
On 19th November 1644 [his father] Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet [aged 36] was tried for treason, for attempting to betray the Parliamentary cause, by court-martial and convicted at Guildhall [Map].
On 23rd December 1644 Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet was beheaded at Tower Hill [Map]. He was buried at St Augustine's Church, Hackney. His son John [aged 9] succeeded 3rd Baronet Carew of Antony in Cornwall.
In 1660 John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 24] was elected MP Cornwall during the Convention Parliament.
In 1661 John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 25] was elected MP Bodmin.
Before 8th August 1664 John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 28] and Sarah Hungerford [aged 23] were married.
On 9th November 1664 [his daughter] Rachel Carew was born to John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 29] and [his wife] Sarah Hungerford [aged 23].
After 1671 John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 35] and Elizabeth Norton [aged 20] were married.
Before 28th March 1671 [his wife] Sarah Hungerford [aged 29] died. She was buried at St James' Church, Antony [Map].
Sarah Hungerford: Before 30th March 1641 she was born to Anthony Hungerford and Rachel Jones. Before 8th August 1664 John Carew 3rd Baronet and she were married.
In 1679 John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 43] was elected MP Lostwithiel.

Jane Rolle Lady Carew: she was born to Robert Rolle of Heanton. In December 1631 Alexander Carew 2nd Baronet and she were married at St Petroc's Church, Petrockstowe [Map]. On or before 14th August 1679, the day she was buried at St James' Church, Antony [Map], [his wife] Elizabeth Norton [aged 28] died.
Elizabeth Norton: Before 22nd September 1650 she was born. After 1671 John Carew 3rd Baronet and she were married.
On 5th July 1681 John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 45] and Mary Morice Lady Carew [aged 10] were married. She by marriage Lady Carew of Antony in Cornwall. The difference in their ages was 35 years.
In 1682 [his daughter] Gertrude Carew Lady Coplestone Lady Copley Sprotborough was born to John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 46] and [his wife] Mary Morice Lady Carew [aged 11]. She married (1) 1700 Godfrey Copley 2nd Baronet, son of Godfrey Copley 1st Baronet (2) before 1718 her second cousin Coplestone Warwick Bamfylde 3rd Baronet and had issue.
In 1683 [his son] Richard Carew 4th Baronet was born to John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 47] and [his wife] Mary Morice Lady Carew [aged 12].
In 1689 John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 53] was elected MP Cornwall.
In 1690 John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 54] was elected MP Saltash.
On or after 24th January 1690, the date he was baptised, [his son] William Carew 5th Baronet was born to John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 54] and [his wife] Mary Morice Lady Carew [aged 19]. He married 5th September 1714 his half fifth cousin Anne Coventry Lady Carew, daughter of Gilbert Coventry 4th Earl Coventry and Dorothy Keyt, and had issue.

On 6th August 1692 John Carew 3rd Baronet [aged 56] died. His son Richard [aged 9] succeeded 4th Baronet Carew of Antony in Cornwall.
Around June 1698 [his former wife] Mary Morice Lady Carew [aged 27] died.

Richard Carew 4th Baronet: In 1683 he was born to John Carew 3rd Baronet and Mary Morice Lady Carew. On 6th August 1692 John Carew 3rd Baronet died. His son Richard succeeded 4th Baronet Carew of Antony in Cornwall. On 24th September 1703 Richard Carew 4th Baronet died. His brother William succeeded 5th Baronet Carew of Antony in Cornwall.
Rachel Carew: On 9th November 1664 she was born to John Carew 3rd Baronet and Sarah Hungerford. On 21st February 1706 Rachel Carew died.
