Between 13th October 1673 and 5th February 1674 [his father] James Darcy [aged 55] died. He was baptised on 30th November 1617.

On or after 19th October 1693, on which day the license is dated, James Darcy 1st Baron Darcy of Navan [aged 43] and Mary Hicks were married.

On or after 15th January 1697, the date of the licence, [his son-in-law] William Jessop of Broom Hall, Sheffield [aged 32] and [his daughter] Mary Darcy were married.

In 1710 [his wife] Mary Hicks died.

On 13th September 1721 James Darcy 1st Baron Darcy of Navan [aged 71] was created 1st Baron Darcy of Navan with special remainder to male heirs of his daughter Mary Darcy.

On 4th April 1725 James Darcy 1st Baron Darcy of Navan [aged 75] and Margaret Garth Baroness Darcy were married. She by marriage Baroness Darcy of Navan.

On 19th July 1731 James Darcy 1st Baron Darcy of Navan [aged 81] died. His grandson James [aged 24] succeeded 2nd Baron Darcy of Navan.

Isabel Darcy was born to James Darcy 1st Baron Darcy of Navan and Anne Stawell. Their third daughter.

[his daughter] Mary Darcy was born to James Darcy 1st Baron Darcy of Navan and Bethia Payler. She married on or after 15th January 1697 William Jessop of Broom Hall, Sheffield and had issue.
