Adelaide Chetwynd-Talbot Countess Brownlow was born to Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury and Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford.

In 1828 [her father] Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury [aged 24] and [her mother] Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford [aged 20] were married. She the daughter of [her grandfather] Henry de la Poer Beresford 2nd Marquess Waterford and [her grandmother] Susan Hussey Carpenter Marchioness Waterford. He the son of Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 2nd Earl Talbot [aged 50] and Frances Thomasina Lambart Countess Talbot. They were fifth cousins.

On 10th January 1849 [her grandfather] Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 2nd Earl Talbot [aged 71] died at Ingestre Hall, Staffordshire. His succeeded son [her father] Henry [aged 45] succeeded 3rd Earl Talbot, 3rd Viscount Ingestre, 5th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire. [her mother] Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford [aged 41] by marriage Countess Talbot.

On 15th February 1855 [her brother] Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot [aged 24] and [her sister-in-law] Anna Theresa Cockerell Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford [aged 18] were married. He the son of [her father] Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury [aged 51] and [her mother] Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford [aged 47].

In 1856 Bertrand Arthur Talbot 17th Earl of Shrewsbury [aged 24] died. His succeeded half eighth cousin [her father] Henry [aged 52] succeeded 18th Earl of Shrewsbury, 18th Earl Waterford.

On 12th August 1857 [her brother-in-law] William Schomberg Kerr 8th Marquess Lothian [aged 25] and [her sister] Constance Harriet Mahonesa Talbot Marchioness Lothian [aged 21] were married. Constance Harriet Mahonesa Talbot Marchioness Lothian by marriage Marchioness Lothian. She the daughter of [her father] Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury [aged 53] and [her mother] Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford [aged 49]. He the son of John Kerr 7th Marquess Lothian and [her aunt] Cecil Chetwynd-Talbot Marchioness Lothian [aged 49]. They were first cousins.

On 20th February 1867 John William Spencer Brownlow Egerton-Cust 2nd Earl Brownlow [aged 24] died in Mentone Italy. His succeeded brother [her future husband] Adelbert Wellington Brownlow Cust 3rd Earl Brownlow [aged 22] succeeded 3rd Earl Brownlow, 3rd Viscount Alford, 4th Baron Brownlow of Belton in Lincolnshire, 7th Baronet Cust of Stamford in Lincolnshire, and inherited Belton House [Map].

In 1868 Adelbert Wellington Brownlow Cust 3rd Earl Brownlow [aged 23] and Adelaide Chetwynd-Talbot Countess Brownlow were married. She by marriage Countess Brownlow. She the daughter of Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury [aged 64] and Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford [aged 60]. They were half fifth cousins.

On 4th June 1868 [her father] Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury [aged 64] died. His succeeded son [her brother] Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot [aged 38] succeeded 19th Earl of Shrewsbury, 19th Earl Waterford, 4th Earl Talbot, 4th Viscount Ingestre, 6th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire. Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot: On 13th April 1830 he was born to Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury and Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford. On 15th February 1855 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot and Anna Theresa Cockerell Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford were married. He the son of Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury and Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford. In 1874 he was appointed Privy Council. On 11th May 1877 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot died. His succeeded son Charles succeeded 20th Earl of Shrewsbury, 20th Earl Waterford, 5th Earl Talbot, 5th Viscount Ingestre, 7th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire.

Anna Theresa Cockerell Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford: On 20th February 1836 she was born to Richard Howe Cockerell and Theresa Howe Newcomen. On 29th July 1912 Anna Theresa Cockerell Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford died.

On 8th May 1877 [her brother-in-law] George Robert Charles Herbert 13th Earl Pembroke 10th Earl Montgomery [aged 26] and [her sister] Gertrude Frances Chetwynd-Talbot Countess Pembroke and Montgomery [aged 37] were married. Gertrude Frances Chetwynd-Talbot Countess Pembroke and Montgomery by marriage Countess Pembroke, Countess Montgomery. She the daughter of [her father] Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury and [her mother] Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford [aged 69].

On 11th May 1877 [her brother] Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot [aged 47] died. His succeeded son [her nephew] Charles [aged 16] succeeded 20th Earl of Shrewsbury, 20th Earl Waterford, 5th Earl Talbot, 5th Viscount Ingestre, 7th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire.

Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford: On 8th November 1807 she was born to Henry de la Poer Beresford 2nd Marquess Waterford and Susan Hussey Carpenter Marchioness Waterford. In 1828 Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury and she were married. She the daughter of Henry de la Poer Beresford 2nd Marquess Waterford and Susan Hussey Carpenter Marchioness Waterford. He the son of Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 2nd Earl Talbot and Frances Thomasina Lambart Countess Talbot. They were fifth cousins. Adeline Horsey Recollections. Victoria Susan Chetwynd-Talbot, who was staying at Gopsall, was very much in love with Lord Anson, and was always trying to make a sketch of him. I got tired of seeing impressions of the Anson profile, full face, three-quarter face, lying about as thick as leaves in Vallambrosa; but Victoria Susan Chetwynd-Talbot went on blissfully sketching, until one morning her Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford discovered the work of the love-smitten amateur artist. "Who did these .'" she demanded, thinking somebody was Anson mad. Victoria Susan Chetwynd-Talbot apparently dreaded confession, for the Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford seemed by her manner to consider sketching young men rather a fast proceeding. Lady Victoria cast an appealing glance at me - "Miss de Horsey did them, mamma!" I accepted the lie, and after that the Anson sketching mania died a natural death. On 10th January 1849 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 2nd Earl Talbot died at Ingestre Hall, Staffordshire. His succeeded son Henry succeeded 3rd Earl Talbot, 3rd Viscount Ingestre, 5th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire. She by marriage Countess Talbot.

On 10th October 1901 [her sister] Constance Harriet Mahonesa Talbot Marchioness Lothian [aged 65] died without issue at Blickling Hall, Norfolk [Map].

On 30th September 1906 [her sister] Gertrude Frances Chetwynd-Talbot Countess Pembroke and Montgomery [aged 66] died.

On 17th March 1921 [her former husband] Adelbert Wellington Brownlow Cust 3rd Earl Brownlow [aged 76] died. Earl Brownlow, Viscount Alford extinct. His succeeded second cousin Adelbert Salusbury Cockayne-Cust 5th Baron Brownlow [aged 53] succeeded 5th Baron Brownlow of Belton in Lincolnshire, 8th Baronet Cust of Stamford in Lincolnshire, and inherited Belton House [Map].
