Paternal Family Tree: Winnington

In 1690 [his father] Salwey Winnington [aged 23] and [his mother] Anne Foley were married. They had one son and five daughters.

On 31st December 1696 Thomas Winnington was born to Salwey Winnington [aged 30] and Anne Foley.

In 1713 Thomas Winnington [aged 16] matriculated at Christ Church College, Oxford University.

On 6th August 1719 Thomas Winnington [aged 22] and Love Reade were married. Ther was no issue from the marriage.

On 20th July 1725 [his uncle] Edward Winnington aka Jeffreys [aged 55] died without issue. His estate were inherited by his elder brother [his father] Salwey Winnington [aged 58].

On 31st January 1726 Thomas Winnington [aged 29] was elected MP Droitwich at a by-election. He was returned unopposed in 1727 and 1734.

In 1730 Thomas Winnington [aged 33] was appointed Lord of the Admiralty.

In 1736 Thomas Winnington [aged 39] was appointed Lord of the Treasury which office he held until 1742.

On 6th November 1736 [his father] Salwey Winnington [aged 70] died.

In 1741 Thomas Winnington [aged 44] was elected MP Droitwich and MP Worcester; he chose to sit for Worcester.

In or after 1743 Thomas Winnington [aged 46] was appointed Paymaster of the Forces which post he held for the remainder of his life.

On 23rd April 1746 Thomas Winnington [aged 49] died.
