Isabel Leigh was born to Ralph Leigh and Joyce Culpepper.

Before 1492 [her father] Ralph Leigh [aged 12] and [her mother] Joyce Culpepper [aged 11] were married.

Before 1505 [her future husband] Edward Bayntun [aged 12] and Elizabeth Sulyard were married.

On 6th November 1509 [her father] Ralph Leigh [aged 30] died.

After 6th November 1509 Edmund Howard [aged 31] and [her mother] Joyce Culpepper [aged 29] were married. He the son of Thomas Howard 2nd Duke of Norfolk [aged 66] and Elizabeth Tilney Countess of Surrey.

Around 1528 [her mother] Joyce Culpepper [aged 48] died.

On 18th January 1531 Edward Bayntun [aged 39] and Isabel Leigh were married. She the half-sister of Catherine Howard [aged 8] their mother was Joyce Culpepper.

Around 1536 [her son] Henry Bayntun was born to [her husband] Edward Bayntun [aged 44] and Isabel Leigh. He married 1561 Anne Cavendish.

On 28th July 1540 [her brother-in-law] Henry VIII [aged 49] and [her half-sister] Catherine Howard [aged 17] were married at Oatlands Palace [Map] by Bishop of London Edmund Bonner [aged 40]. She by marriage Queen Consort England. The difference in their ages was 31 years. He the son of King Henry VII of England and Ireland and Elizabeth York Queen Consort England. They were fifth cousin once removed.

Catherine Carey [aged 16] and Eleanor Paston Countess Rutland [aged 45] were appointed Lady in Waiting to Queen Catherine Howard of England.

Wriothesley's Chronicle [1508-1562]. 13th November 1541. This yeare, the 13th daye of November, Sir Thomas Wriothesly, knight, and Secretary to the Kinge, came to Hampton Court to the Quene, and called all the ladies and gentlewomen and her servauntes into the Great Chamber, and there openlye afore them declared certeine offences that she had done in misusing her bodye with certeine persons afore the Kinges tyme, wherefore he there discharged all her househould; and the morrowe after she was had to Sion, and my Lady Bainton and 2 other gentlewomen, with certeine of her servauntes to wayte on her there till the Kinges further pleasure;a and divers persons were had to the Tower of London, as my Lady Rochford [aged 36], Mr. Culpepper [aged 27], one of the Kinges Privie Chamber, with other.

Holinshed's Chronicle [1525-1582]. [14th November 1541]. The morrow after she [[her half-sister] Queen Catherine Howard of England [aged 18]] was conueied to Sion [Map], the ladie Bainton and certeine gentlewomen and some of hir seruants being appointed to wait upon hir there, till the kings pleasure might be further knowen. Culpeper [aged 27], Diram [aged 28], and others were had to the tower. Diram in his examination being charged with the familiaritie which had béene betwixt them, before she was married to the king, confessed that he and she said quéene had made a precontract togither, and that he concealed it for hir preferment in marriage to the king, after he vnderstood the king began to cast a liking towards hir.

On 13th February 1542 [her half-sister] Queen Catherine Howard [aged 19] and Jane Parker Viscountess Rochford [aged 37] were beheaded at Tower Green [Map]. Henry Howard Earl of Surrey [aged 26] attended. They were both buried at St Peter ad Vincula Church, Tower of London [Map].

Mary Boleyn [aged 43] was the heir of Jane Parker Viscountess Rochford being the sister of her deceased husband George Boleyn Viscount Rochford.

Deeds of King Henry V

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

After 27th November 1544 James Stumpe and Isabel Leigh were married.

In 1561 [her son] Henry Bayntun [aged 25] and [her daughter-in-law] Anne Cavendish were married.

On 29th April 1563 [her husband] James Stumpe died.

Around 1565 Thomas Stafford [aged 85] and Isabel Leigh were married.

On 16th February 1573 Isabel Leigh died.
