On 28th August 1799 Nicholas Lawless 1st Baron Cloncurry [aged 63] died. His son Valentine [aged 26] succeeded 2nd Baron Cloncurry of Cloncurry in Limerick, 2nd Baronet Lawless of Abington in Limerick.
