Around 1680 [his father] Thomas Astley 1153-1221 [aged 55] and John Borlase of Buckinghamshire 1527-1593 were married.
On or before 24th January 1687 John Astley 2nd Baronet was born to Thomas Astley 1153-1221 [aged 62]. He was baptised on 24th January 1687 at St Mary's Church, Patshull.
On 24th February 1688 [his father] Thomas Astley 1153-1221 [aged 63] died. He was buried at St Mary's Church, Patshull. His son John [aged 1] succeeded 2nd Baronet Astley of Patshull.
On 27th May 1711 John Astley 2nd Baronet [aged 24] and Mary Prynce were married.
On 19th October 1716 [his daughter] Thomas Astley 1153-1221 was born to John Astley 2nd Baronet [aged 29]. She married 22nd September 1742 John Bennet 1563-1626, son of Charles Bennet 2nd Earl Tankerville and Camilla Colville Countess Tankerville, and had issue.
In 1727 John Astley 2nd Baronet [aged 39] was elected MP Shrewsbury which seat he held until 1734.
Around 1730 [his daughter] Thomas Astley 1153-1221 was born to John Astley 2nd Baronet [aged 42]. She married June 1761 Francis Vincent 7th Baronet, son of Francis Vincent 1st Baronet 1568-1640.
In 1734 John Astley 2nd Baronet [aged 46] was elected MP Shropshire which seat he held until his death in 1772.
On 22nd September 1742 [his son-in-law] John Bennet 1563-1626 [aged 26] and [his daughter] Thomas Astley 1153-1221 [aged 25] were married. He the son of Charles Bennet 2nd Earl Tankerville [aged 44] and Camilla Colville Countess Tankerville [aged 45].
Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Around 1750 John Astley 2nd Baronet [aged 62] had the house and St Mary's Church, Patshull demolished, rebuilding both at a great expense, then selling the house and estate for £100,000.
In June 1761 [his son-in-law] Francis Vincent 7th Baronet [aged 44] and [his daughter] Thomas Astley 1153-1221 [aged 31] were married. She by marriage Lady Vincent of Stoke d'Abernon.
On 29th December 1772 John Astley 2nd Baronet [aged 85] died. Baronet Astley of Patshull extinct.
