The King has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm, bearing date the 14th instant, to confer the dignity of a Barony of the United Kingdom upon Sir Hugh Michael Seely [aged 42], Bt., arid the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten, by the name, style and title of Baron Sherwood, of Calverton in the county of Nottingham.
