On 16 Apr 1675 [his grandfather] Robert Rich 5th Earl Warwick 2nd Earl Holland (age 56) died. His son [his father] Edward Rich 6th Earl Warwick 3rd Earl Holland (age 2) succeeded 6th Earl Warwick, 3rd Earl Holland, 8th Baron Rich of Leez.

In 1697 [his father] Edward Rich 6th Earl Warwick 3rd Earl Holland (age 24) and [his mother] Charlotte Myddelton Countess Warwick and Holland (age 17) were married. She by marriage Countess Warwick. He the son of Robert Rich 5th Earl Warwick 2nd Earl Holland and Anne Montagu Countess Warwick and Holland.

She the daughter of Robert Rich 5th Earl Warwick 2nd Earl Holland and Anne Montagu Countess Warwick and Holland.

In 1718 Edward Rich 7th Earl Warwick 4th Earl Holland (age 19) was appointed Gentlemen of the Bedchamber to George, Prince of Wales (age 34).

On 19 May 1719 Edward Rich 7th Earl Warwick 4th Earl Holland (age 21) was appointed Gentlemen of the Bedchamber to King George I of Great Britain and Ireland (age 58).
