Before 16 Jan 1861 [his son-in-law] James McGarel-Hogg 1st Baron Magheramorne (age 37) and [his daughter] Caroline Elizabeth Emma Douglas-Pennant were married.
On 03 Aug 1866 Edward Gordon Douglas Pennant 1st Baron Penrhyn (age 66) was created 1st Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai in Carnarvonshire. [his wife] Maria Louise Fitzroy Baroness Penrhyn (age 48) by marriage Baroness Penrhyn of Llandegai in Carnarvonshire.

On 31 Mar 1886 Edward Gordon Douglas Pennant 1st Baron Penrhyn (age 85) died. His son [his son] George Sholto Douglas Pennant 2nd Baron Penrhyn (age 49) succeeded 2nd Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai in Carnarvonshire.
In 1912 [his former wife] Maria Louise Fitzroy Baroness Penrhyn (age 94) died.
[his daughter] Caroline Elizabeth Emma Douglas-Pennant was born to Edward Gordon Douglas Pennant 1st Baron Penrhyn and Juliana Isabella Mary Dawkins-Pennant.
