On 15 Jul 1632 Richard Cumberland Bishop was born
In 1691 Richard Cumberland Bishop (age 58) was elected Bishop of Peterborough. He, apparently, discovered he had been elected when he read it in a newspaper whilst enjoying his habitual morning coffee at a coffe-house in Stamford [Map].
On 08 Oct 1718 Richard Cumberland Bishop (age 86) died. He was buried the next day at Peterborough Cathedral [Map]. Sculpted by Thomas Green of Camberwell (age 59).
