Biography of Samuel Pytts 1674-1729

Around 1674 Samuel Pytts was born to James Pytts of Wick in Worcestershire and Catherine Cliffe of Malvern.

In 1683 Price Devereux 9th Viscount Hereford (age 20) and [his future sister-in-law] Mary Sandys were married.

On 20 Jan 1690 Samuel Pytts (age 16) and Frances Sandys were married.

After 20 Jan 1690 Samuel Pytts (age 16) and Catherine Rushout were married.

On 14 Oct 1694 [his brother-in-law] Edwin Sandys (age 35) and Alice Rushout were married.

Around 1696 [his son] Edmund Pytts of Kyre in Worcestershire was born to Samuel Pytts (age 22) and [his wife] Frances Sandys.

On 16 Feb 1698 [his father-in-law] James Rushout 1st Baronet (age 53) died. His son [his brother-in-law] James Rushout 2nd Baronet (age 22) succeeded 2nd Baronet Rushout of Northwick Park in Worcestershire.

In 1713 Samuel Pytts (age 39) was appointed High Sheriff of Worcestershire.

On 24 Jan 1727 [his son] Edmund Pytts of Kyre in Worcestershire (age 31) and [his daughter-in-law] Susanna Collet were married. They had four sons and four daughters.

In 1729 [his brother-in-law] John Rushout 4th Baronet (age 43) and Anne Compton Lady Rushout were married. She the daughter of George Compton 4th Earl of Northampton and Jane Fox Countess Northampton.

On 14 Jan 1729 [his sister-in-law] Mary Sandys died.

On 15 Jan 1729 Samuel Pytts (age 55) died.
