In 1653 [her father] John Talbot of Lacock (age 22) and Elizabeth Keyt were married.

In 1660 [her father] John Talbot of Lacock (age 29) and [her mother] Barbara Slingsby (age 27) were married.

In 1665 Barbara Talbot Viscountess Longueville was born to John Talbot of Lacock (age 34) and Barbara Slingsby (age 32).

On 17th May 1679 Charles Yelverton 14th Baron Grey of Ruthyn (age 21) died. His brother [her future husband] Henry succeeded 15th Baron Grey of Ruthyn, 4th Baronet Yelverton of Easton Maudit in Northamptonshire. Barbara Talbot Viscountess Longueville (age 14) by marriage Baroness Grey of Ruthyn.

In 1689 Henry Yelverton 1st Viscount Longueville and Barbara Talbot Viscountess Longueville (age 24) were married.

On 21st April 1690 [her husband] Henry Yelverton 1st Viscount Longueville was created 1st Viscount Longueville. Barbara Talbot Viscountess Longueville (age 25) by marriage Viscountess Longueville.

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: "In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed." On 2nd May 1690 [her son] Talbot Yelverton 1st Earl of Sussex was born to [her husband] Henry Yelverton 1st Viscount Longueville and Barbara Talbot Viscountess Longueville (age 25).

Around 1692 [her daughter] Barbara Yelverton was born to [her husband] Henry Yelverton 1st Viscount Longueville and Barbara Talbot Viscountess Longueville (age 27).

In 1703 [her mother] Barbara Slingsby (age 70) died. She was buried at St Cyriac's Church, Lacock.

In 1704 [her husband] Henry Yelverton 1st Viscount Longueville died. His son [her son] Talbot (age 13) succeeded 2nd Viscount Longueville, 16th Baron Grey of Ruthyn, 5th Baronet Yelverton of Easton Maudit in Northamptonshire. [her future daughter-in-law] Lucy Pelham Countess Sussex by marriage Viscountess Longueville.

On 13th March 1714 [her father] John Talbot of Lacock (age 83) died.

In 1724 [her daughter] Barbara Yelverton (age 32) died.

Before 27th July 1727 [her son] Talbot Yelverton 1st Earl of Sussex (age 37) and [her daughter-in-law] Lucy Pelham Countess Sussex were married. She by marriage Countess of Sussex. They were fifth cousins.

On 27th October 1731 [her son] Talbot Yelverton 1st Earl of Sussex (age 41) died. His son [her grandson] George (age 4) succeeded 2nd Earl of Sussex, 3rd Viscount Longueville, 17th Baron Grey of Ruthyn, 6th Baronet Yelverton of Easton Maudit in Northamptonshire.

In 1763 Barbara Talbot Viscountess Longueville (age 98) died.
