On 22nd November 1596 William Sandys (age 21) and Elizabeth Cornwallis (age 6) were married. There was no issue from the marriage. They were half fifth cousins.
Before 1608 [her father] William Cornwallis (age 58) and [her mother] Lucy Neville (age 58) were married.
On 30th April 1608 [her mother] Lucy Neville (age 59) died.
In 1609 [her father] William Cornwallis (age 60) and [her step-mother] Jane Meautys (age 28) were married. The difference in their ages was 32 years.
In 1609 [her brother-in-law] Archibald Campbell 7th Earl Argyll (age 34) and [her sister] Anne Cornwallis Countess Argyll (age 19) were married. She by marriage Countess Argyll. He the son of Colin Campbell 6th Earl Argyll and Agnes Keith Countess Moray and Mar. They were sixth cousins.

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: "In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed." On 11th May 1630 Richard Lumley 1st Viscount Lumley (age 41) and Elizabeth Cornwallis Viscountess Lumley (age 40) were married. They were fifth cousin once removed. He a great x 3 grandson of King Edward IV of England.
In January 1631 [her half-brother] Frederick Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis (age 19) and [her sister-in-law] Elizabeth Ashburnham (age 18) were married. After the wedding King Charles I (age 30), Henrietta Maria (age 21) and Susan Feilding, Countess of Denbigh (age 48) wrote to congratulate his mother [her step-mother] Jane, Baroness Cornwallis Bacon (age 50), and ask her to forgive him for his disobedience and return him to her favour. Denbigh said Ashburnham was her cousin "though her family be unfortunate".
On 12th January 1635 [her sister] Anne Cornwallis Countess Argyll (age 45) died at Drury Lane.
After 1643 [her half-brother] Frederick Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis (age 31) and [her sister-in-law] Elizabeth Crofts were married.
In 1658 Elizabeth Cornwallis Viscountess Lumley (age 68) died.
Before 12th March 1663 [her former husband] Richard Lumley 1st Viscount Lumley (age 73) died. His grandson Richard (age 13) succeeded 2nd Viscount Lumley.
Richard Lumley 1st Viscount Lumley and Frances Shelley were married.
