Paternal Family Tree: Drake
In or before 1642 [his father] Thomas Drake (age 21) and [his mother] Susan Crymes were married.
On or before 1st May 1642 Francis Drake 3rd Baronet was born to Thomas Drake (age 22) and Susan Crymes. He was baptised on 1st May 1642 at Buckland Monachorum, Devon.
On 6th January 1662 [his uncle] Francis Drake 2nd Baronet (age 44) died. His nephew Francis (age 19) succeeded 3rd Baronet Drake of Buckland in Devon.
On 6th February 1665 Francis Drake 3rd Baronet (age 22) and Dorothy Bampfylde Lady Drake were married at St Andrew's Church, Bere Ferrers [Map]. She by marriage Lady Drake of Buckland in Devon.
In 1669 [his daughter] Gertrude Drake was born to Francis Drake 3rd Baronet (age 26) and [his wife] Dorothy Bampfylde Lady Drake.
On or before 30th January 1679 [his wife] Dorothy Bampfylde Lady Drake died. She was buried on 30th January 1679 at St Andrew's Church, Buckland Monachorum [Map].
On or after 21st October 1680, the date of the licence, Francis Drake 3rd Baronet (age 38) and Anne Boone Lady Drake were married. She by marriage Lady Drake of Buckland in Devon. There was no issue from the marriage.
On or before 22nd December 1685 [his wife] Anne Boone Lady Drake died. She was buried on 22nd December 1685 at St Andrew's Church, Buckland Monachorum [Map].
On or after 17th February 1690, the date of the licence, Francis Drake 3rd Baronet (age 47) and Elizabeth Pollexfen Lady Drake were married. She by marriage Lady Drake of Buckland in Devon.
In 1694 [his son] Francis Drake 4th Baronet was born to Francis Drake 3rd Baronet (age 51) and [his wife] Elizabeth Pollexfen Lady Drake.
In 1717 [his wife] Elizabeth Pollexfen Lady Drake died.
In 1718 Francis Drake 3rd Baronet (age 75) died. His son [his son] Francis (age 24) succeeded 4th Baronet Drake of Buckland in Devon.
In or before 1729 [his son-in-law] Henry Pollexfen and [his daughter] Gertrude Drake (age 59) were married. His sister [his former wife] Elizabeth Pollexfen Lady Drake was married to, or would marry, her father Francis Drake 3rd Baronet.
St Peter's Church, Meavy [Map]. Meavy was purchased by Sir Francis Drake 3rd Baronet, of Buckland Abbey in the parish of Buckland Monachorum, who sometimes resided at the manor house west of St Peter's Church, in which survives the "Drake Aisle" or manorial chapel.
