On 26th May 1794 [his father] Richard Bingham 2nd Earl Lucan (age 29) and [his mother] Elizabeth Belasyse Duchess Norfolk (age 24) were married. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Henry Belasyse 2nd Earl Fauconberg (age 52) and [his grandmother] . He the son of [his grandfather] Charles Bingham 1st Earl Lucan (age 58) and [his grandmother] Margaret Smith Countess Lucan (age 54).
On 16th April 1800 George Charles Bingham 3rd Earl Lucan was born to [his father] Richard Bingham 2nd Earl Lucan (age 35) and [his mother] Elizabeth Belasyse Duchess Norfolk (age 30).
In 1819 [his mother] Elizabeth Belasyse Duchess Norfolk (age 49) died.

On 30th June 1839 [his father] Richard Bingham 2nd Earl Lucan (age 74) died at Serpentine Terrace, Knightsbridge. His son George (age 39) succeeded 3rd Earl Lucan of Castlebar in Mayo, 3rd Baron Lucan of Castlebar in Mayo, 9th Baronet Bingham of Castlebar in County Mayo. The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.

On 25th October 1854 during the Battle of Balaclava George Charles Bingham 3rd Earl Lucan (age 54) gave the order for the Charge of the Light Brigade which was then led by his brother-in-law [his brother-in-law] James Brudenell 7th Earl Cardigan (age 57).
Hedworth Jolliffe 2nd Baron Hylton (age 25) took part.
Godfrey Morgan 1st Viscount Tredegar (age 23) was in command of a section of the Light Brigade. His horse "Sir Briggs" survived, died aged twenty-eight and was buried in the Cedar Garden at Tredegar House, Monmouthshire where there is a monument to him.
Thomas Hutton took part. He was shot through the right thigh during the advance, and on returning from the guns he was again severely wounded through the left thigh.
George Orby Wombwell 4th Baronet (age 21) took part and survived. His horse was killed under him and he was shortly after pulled off and taken prisoner, his sword and pistols being taken from him by some Russian Lancers. He managed to escape, catch another loose horse and ride back to the British lines, pursued by Russians.
Fiennes Wykeham-Martin Cornwallis (age 22) took part.

He the son of George Charles Bingham 3rd Earl Lucan (age 60) and [his wife] (age 51). They were fourth cousin once removed. She a great x 4 granddaughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.
On 26th September 1877 [his son] (age 30) and [his daughter-in-law] Mary Elizabeth Cole were married. He the son of George Charles Bingham 3rd Earl Lucan (age 77) and [his wife] (age 68).
On 10th November 1888 George Charles Bingham 3rd Earl Lucan (age 88) died at 13 South Street Park Lane. His sonCharles (age 58) succeeded 4th Earl Lucan of Castlebar in Mayo, 4th Baron Lucan of Castlebar in Mayo, 10th Baronet Bingham of Castlebar in County Mayo. [his daughter-in-law] (age 50) by marriage Countess Lucan of Castlebar in Mayo.
