Before January 1754 [his father] Reverend Hadley D'Oyly 5th Baronet (age 44) and [his mother] Henrietta Osborn Lady D'Oyly were married.
In January 1754 John Hadley D'Oyly 6th Baronet was born to Reverend Hadley D'Oyly 5th Baronet (age 44) and Henrietta Osborn Lady D'Oyly.
In 1764 [his father] Reverend Hadley D'Oyly 5th Baronet (age 54) died. His son John (age 9) succeeded 6th Baronet D'Oyly of Shottisham in Suffolk.
In 1769 John Hadley D'Oyly 6th Baronet (age 14) joined the East India Company through the influence of Thomas Charles Bunbury 6th Baronet (age 28).
On 19th January 1774 William Coates (age 29) and [his future wife] Diana Rochfort Lady D'Oyly (age 19) were married in Calcutta, India. At the time of his marriage he was a Factor in the East India Company Service.
On 16th March 1779 John Hadley D'Oyly 6th Baronet (age 25) and Diana Rochfort Lady D'Oyly (age 24) were married at Calcutta, India. She by marriage Lady D'Oyly of Shottisham in Suffolk. They had four children.
On 18th September 1781 [his son] Charles D'Oyly 7th Baronet was born to John Hadley D'Oyly 6th Baronet (age 27) and [his wife] Diana Rochfort Lady D'Oyly (age 26) at Calcutta, India.
On 21st October 1785 [his daughter] Harriet Rochfort D'Oyly was born to John Hadley D'Oyly 6th Baronet (age 31) and [his wife] Diana Rochfort Lady D'Oyly (age 30) at Calcutta, India.

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.
In 1790 John Hadley D'Oyly 6th Baronet (age 35) was elected MP Ipswich which seat he held until 1796.
On 29th September 1794 [his son] John Hadley D'Oyly 8th Baronet was born to John Hadley D'Oyly 6th Baronet (age 40) and [his wife] Diana Rochfort Lady D'Oyly (age 39) at Calcutta, India.
On 6th September 1803 [his wife] Diana Rochfort Lady D'Oyly (age 48) died.
In 1804 John Hadley D'Oyly 6th Baronet (age 49) was collector of customs, Calcutta.
In 1805 [his son] Charles D'Oyly 7th Baronet (age 23) and [his daughter-in-law] Marian Greer (age 15) were married at Tumluk, Bengal. They were first cousin once removed.
On 6th March 1806 [his son-in-law] George Baring (age 24) and [his daughter] Harriet Rochfort D'Oyly (age 20) were married.
In 1817 [his son] Charles D'Oyly 7th Baronet (age 35) and [his daughter-in-law] Elizabeth Jane Ross Lady D'Oyly were married.
On 5th January 1818 John Hadley D'Oyly 6th Baronet (age 64) died at Calcutta, India where he was buried at South Park Street Cemetery, Plot 760. His son [his son] Charles (age 36) succeeded 7th Baronet D'Oyly of Shottisham in Suffolk. [his daughter-in-law] Elizabeth Jane Ross Lady D'Oyly by marriage Lady D'Oyly of Shottisham in Suffolk.
