The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Biography of John Hamner 1st Baron Hamner 1809-1881

Paternal Family Tree: Hanmer

On 3rd December 1779 [his father] Thomas Hanmer 2nd Baronet (age 32) and [his mother] Margaret Kenyon Lady Hanmer were married.

On 22nd December 1809 John Hamner 1st Baron Hamner was born to Thomas Hanmer 2nd Baronet (age 62) and Margaret Kenyon Lady Hanmer.

On 4th October 1828 [his father] Thomas Hanmer 2nd Baronet (age 81) died. His son John (age 18) succeeded 3rd Baronet Hamner of Hamner in Flintshire.

On 6th November 1830 [his mother] Margaret Kenyon Lady Hanmer died.

In 1832 John Hamner 1st Baron Hamner (age 22) was appointed High Sheriff of Flintshire.

In 1832 John Hamner 1st Baron Hamner (age 22) was elected MP Shrewsbury which seat he held util 1837.

In 1833 John Hamner 1st Baron Hamner (age 23) and Georgiana Chetwynd Baroness Hamner were married. She by marriage Lady Hamner of Hamner in Flintshire.

In 1841 John Hamner 1st Baron Hamner (age 31) was elected MP Kingston upon Hull which seat he held util 1847.

In 1847 John Hamner 1st Baron Hamner (age 37) was elected MP Flint Boroughs which seat he held util 1872.

In 1872 John Hamner 1st Baron Hamner (age 62) was created 1st Baron Hamner of Hanmer and of Flint in Flintshire. [his wife] Georgiana Chetwynd Baroness Hamner by marriage Baroness Hamner of Hanmer and of Flint in Flintshire.

On 8th March 1881 John Hamner 1st Baron Hamner (age 71) died. Baron Hamner of Hanmer and of Flint in Flintshire extinct. His brother [his brother] Wyndham (age 71) succeeded 4th Baronet Hamner of Hamner in Flintshire.
