Paternal Family Tree: Trelawny
In or before 1688 [his father] Bishop Jonathan Trelawny 3rd Baronet (age 37) and [his mother] Rebecca Hele Lady Trelawny were married. She by marriage Lady Trelawny of Trelawny in Cornwall.
On 26th July 1691 John Trelawny 4th Baronet was born to Bishop Jonathan Trelawny 3rd Baronet (age 41) and Rebecca Hele Lady Trelawny.
On 26th January 1708 John Trelawny 4th Baronet (age 16) matriculated Christ Church College, Oxford University.
On 20th April 1713 John Trelawny 4th Baronet (age 21) was elected MP West Looe at by-election. He was retuend again at the 1713 General Election.
In 1714 John Trelawny 4th Baronet (age 22) was appointed Groom of the Bedchamber to Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales (age 6).
In 1715 John Trelawny 4th Baronet (age 23) was elected MP Liskeard
In 1715 John Trelawny 4th Baronet (age 23) was appointed Recorder of East Looe which position he held until 1734.
On 17th July 1716 Harry Trelawny 5th Baronet (age 29) and [his sister] Letitia Trelawny were married. She the elder sister of John Trelawny 4th Baronet (age 24). They had been courting for many years before her father [his father] Bishop Jonathan Trelawny 3rd Baronet (age 66) consented to their marriage. They had a son, who predeceased him, and three daughters, one of whom, Laetitia, also married a cousin. She the daughter of Bishop Jonathan Trelawny 3rd Baronet and [his mother] Rebecca Hele Lady Trelawny. They were first cousins.
On 19th July 1721 [his father] Bishop Jonathan Trelawny 3rd Baronet (age 71) died. His son John (age 29) succeeded 4th Baronet Trelawny of Trelawny in Cornwall.

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: "In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed." In 1722 John Trelawny 4th Baronet (age 30) was elected MP West Looe unopposed.
In 1727 John Trelawny 4th Baronet (age 35) was elected MP East Looe.
Before 2nd February 1756 John Trelawny 4th Baronet (age 64) and Agnes Blackwood were married. There were no children from the marriage. He the son of Bishop Jonathan Trelawny 3rd Baronet and Rebecca Hele Lady Trelawny.
On 2nd February 1756 John Trelawny 4th Baronet (age 64) died. His first cousin Harry (age 68) succeeded 5th Baronet Trelawny of Trelawny in Cornwall.
