Mary Bellings-Arundell was born to [her father] Richard Bellings-Arundell and [her mother] Frances Arundell.

In 1671 [her grandfather] Richard Bellings (age 49) and [her mother] Frances Arundell (age 11) were married. The difference in their ages was 38 years.

In 1695 Edward Hales 3rd Baronet (age 50) died. His son [her husband] John (age 23) succeeded 4th Baronet Hales of Woodchurch and Tunstall.

In 1695 John Hales 4th Baronet (age 23) and Mary Bellings-Arundell were married. She by marriage Lady Hales of Woodchurch and Tunstall.

In 1697 [her daughter] Frances Hales Countess Lichfield was born to [her husband] John Hales 4th Baronet (age 25) and Mary Bellings-Arundell Lady Hales. She married before 21st May 1718 George Henry Lee 2nd Earl Lichfield, son of Edward Lee 1st Earl Lichfield and Charlotte Fitzroy Countess Lichfield, and had issue.

In or before 1704 [her father] Richard Bellings-Arundell (age 31) and Anne Gage (age 19) were married.

Before 21st May 1718 [her son-in-law] George Henry Lee 2nd Earl Lichfield (age 28) and [her daughter] Frances Hales Countess Lichfield (age 21) were married. He the son of Edward Lee 1st Earl Lichfield and Charlotte Fitzroy Countess Lichfield.

In 1740 [her son] Henry Arundell 8th Baron Arundel was born to [her husband] Henry Arundell 7th Baron Arundel (age 23) and Mary Bellings-Arundell. He married 31st May 1763 Mary Conquest Baroness Arundel Wardour and had issue.

In 1744 [her husband] John Hales 4th Baronet (age 72) died. His son [her son] Edward succeeded 5th Baronet Hales of Woodchurch and Tunstall.

In 1746 [her father-in-law] Henry Arundell 6th Baron Arundel (age 52) died at Richmond, Surrey [Map]. His son [her husband] Henry (age 29) succeeded 7th Baron Arundel of Wardour in Wiltshire. Mary Belling by marriage Baroness Arundel of Wardour in Wiltshire.

In September 1747 [her son] Edward Hales 5th Baronet and [her daughter-in-law] Winifred Webb Lady Hales were married. She by marriage Lady Hales of Woodchurch and Tunstall. They were sixth cousins.

Abbot John Whethamstede’s Chronicle of the Abbey of St Albans

Abbot John Whethamstede's Register aka Chronicle of his second term at the Abbey of St Albans, 1451-1461, is a remarkable text that describes his first-hand experience of the beginning of the Wars of the Roses including the First and Second Battles of St Albans, 1455 and 1461, respectively, their cause, and their consequences, not least on the Abbey itself. His text also includes Loveday, Blore Heath, Northampton, the Act of Accord, Wakefield, and Towton, and ends with the Coronation of King Edward IV. In addition to the events of the Wars of the Roses, Abbot John, or his scribes who wrote the Chronicle, include details in the life of the Abbey such as charters, letters, land exchanges, visits by legates, and disputes, which provide a rich insight into the day-to-day life of the Abbey, and the challenges faced by its Abbot.

On 21st February 1769 Mary Catherine Bellings-Arundell Baroness Arundel Wardour died.

[her son] Edward Hales 5th Baronet was born to John Hales 4th Baronet and Mary Bellings Lady Hales. He married September 1747 his sixth cousin Winifred Webb Lady Hales, daughter of John Webb 3rd Baronet and Barbara Belasyse Lady Webb, and had issue.
