Paternal Family Tree: McCorquodale
On 23rd April 1927 [her father] Alexander Cowan McCorquodale (age 69) and [her mother] Barbara Cartland (age 25) were married. The difference in their ages was 43 years.
On 9th September 1929 Raine Mccorquodale Countess Dartmouth and Spencer was born to Alexander Cowan McCorquodale (age 71) and Barbara Cartland (age 28). She, Barbara, apparently, later alleged, Raine was the daughter of either John Sutherland Egerton 6th Duke Sutherland (age 14) or Prince George Windsor 1st Duke Kent (age 26).

In 1933 [her father] Alexander Cowan McCorquodale (age 74) and [her mother] Barbara Cartland (age 31) were divorced. She later married his cousin.
On 28th December 1936 [her step-father] Hugh Mccorquodale 1898-1963 (age 38) and [her mother] Barbara Cartland (age 35) were married.
On 10th January 1941 [her father] Alexander Cowan McCorquodale (age 82) died.
On 1st July 1948 Gerald Legge 9th Earl of Dartmouth (age 24) and Raine Mccorquodale Countess Dartmouth and Spencer (age 18) were married. He the son of Humphry Legge 8th Earl Dartmouth (age 60).
On 23rd September 1949 [her son] William Legge 10th Earl of Dartmouth was born to [her husband] Gerald Legge 9th Earl of Dartmouth (age 25) and Raine Mccorquodale Countess Dartmouth and Spencer (age 20).

The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

In 1976 John Spencer 8th Earl Spencer (age 51) and Raine Mccorquodale Countess Dartmouth and Spencer (age 46) were married. She by marriage Countess Spencer. He the son of Albert Edward John Spencer 7th Earl Spencer and Cynthia Elinor Beatrix Hamilton Countess Spencer.
In 1976 Gerald Legge 9th Earl of Dartmouth (age 51) and Raine Mccorquodale Countess Dartmouth and Spencer (age 46) were divorced.
On 20th April 1978 Robert Fellows (age 37) and Jane Spencer (age 21) were married at the Royal Military Chapel, Wellington Barracks. On 29th July 1981 Prince Charles (age 32) and [her step-daughter] Diana Spencer Princess Wales (age 20) were married at St Paul's Cathedral [Map]. She by marriage Princess of Wales. She the daughter of [her husband] John Spencer 8th Earl Spencer (age 57) and Frances Ruth Roche Countess Spencer (age 45). He the son of Philip Mountbatten Duke Edinburgh (age 60) and Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom (age 55).
On 29th March 1992 [her husband] John Spencer 8th Earl Spencer (age 68) died. His son Charles (age 27) succeeded 9th Earl Spencer, 9th Viscount Althorp, 9th Viscount Spencer, 9th Baron Spencer Althorp.

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.
