Before January 1637 [his father] John Constable 2nd Viscount Dunbar (age 22) and [his mother] Mary Brudenell Viscountess Dunbar were married. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Thomas Brudenell 1st Earl Cardigan (age 54) and [his grandmother] Mary Tresham Countess Cardigan. They were half third cousins.
Around 1651 Robert Constable 3rd Viscount Dunbar was born to John Constable 2nd Viscount Dunbar (age 36) and Mary Brudenell Viscountess Dunbar.
Around 1672 Robert Constable 3rd Viscount Dunbar (age 21) and Mary Belasyse were married.
After 21st June 1687 [his former wife] Mary Belasyse died.
Around 1688 [his father] John Constable 2nd Viscount Dunbar (age 73) died. His son Robert (age 37) succeeded 3rd Viscount Dunbar.

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: "In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed." Around 1st August 1697 Robert Constable 3rd Viscount Dunbar (age 46) and Dorothy Brudenell Viscountess Dunbar (age 54) were married. She by marriage Viscountess Dunbar. She the daughter of Robert Brudenell 2nd Earl Cardigan (age 90) and Anna Savage Countess Cardigan. They were first cousins.
On 20th April 1702 [his sister-in-law] Anna Maria Brudenell Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford (age 60) died.
On 23rd November 1714 Robert Constable 3rd Viscount Dunbar (age 63) died without issue. His brother [his brother] William (age 60) succeeded 4th Viscount Dunbar. Elizabeth Clifford Viscountess Dunbar (age 25) by marriage Viscountess Dunbar.
On 26th January 1740 [his former wife] Dorothy Brudenell Viscountess Dunbar (age 97) died.
