Edith Latimer: John Greene and she were married. Around 1450 she was born to Nicholas Latimer (age 18) and Joan Hody at Duntish, Dorset. Before 1475 John Mordaunt (age 19) and Edith Latimer (age 24) were married. On 05 Sep 1504 Edith Latimer (age 54) died at Turvey, Bedfordshire. She was buried at All Saints Church, Turvey.

A curious monument to John Mordaunt 1st Baron Mordaunt (deceased) and Elizabeth Vere Baroness Mordaunt with effigies that appear correct for the time of death, Elizabethan Period, whereas the surrounding monument appears a hundred years later. The carving of his head and torso also appear somewhat out of date. No explanation for his missing right foot. Sculpted by T Kirkby.
John Mordaunt 1st Baron Mordaunt: In 1480 he was born to John Mordaunt (age 24) and Edith Latimer (age 30) at Cople, Bedfordshire. In 1503 John Mordaunt 1st Baron Mordaunt (age 23) educated at Middle Temple. On 18 Feb 1504 Henry VIII (age 12) was created Prince of Wales and 1st Earl Chester. John Mordaunt 1st Baron Mordaunt (age 24) was created Knight of the Bath. Richard Empson (age 54) was knighted. Before 1508 John Mordaunt 1st Baron Mordaunt (age 28) and Elizabeth Vere Baroness Mordaunt were married. In 1529 John Mordaunt 1st Baron Mordaunt (age 49) was created 1st Baron Mordaunt. Elizabeth Vere Baroness Mordaunt by marriage Baroness Mordaunt. On 18 Aug 1562 John Mordaunt 1st Baron Mordaunt (age 82) died at Bedford, Bedfordshire. His son John Mordaunt 2nd Baron Mordaunt (age 54) succeeded 2nd Baron Mordaunt. Henry Machyn's Diary. 03 Sep 1562. The sam tyme they be-gane to make for my lord Mordant (deceased) in Bedfordshyre furst a standard and a gret baner of armes, and (blank) banar-rolles and vj skochyons of armes of [silk,] and of bokeram (blank) dosen, and of paper (blank) dosen skochyons, and a targett, sword, helme, and crest, mantylls and (blank) dosen of sylke, and a cott armur, and grett skochyons of armes for the herse [of] past [paste] papur, and goodly bordurs rond abowt the herse.
Elizabeth Vere Baroness Mordaunt: She was born to Henry Vere. Before 1561 she died.

Bedford, where he was buried, and a sumptuous monument erected with effigies of himself and lady, of which there is an engraving in Halstead's Genealogies, fol. 1785, p 593.
In 1571 John Mordaunt 2nd Baron Mordaunt (age 63) died. He was buried at All Saints Church, Turvey [Map]. His son Lewis Mordaunt 3rd Baron Mordaunt (age 32) succeeded 3rd Baron Mordaunt.
On 02 Jun 1543 Ellen Fitzlewis (age 21) died. In Apr 1592 Joan Fermor (age 76) died.
Elizabethan Period monument with eight Doric Columns with John Mordaunt 2nd Baron Mordaunt (age 63) in an elevated position with a wife either side, each lying on a rush mat. All three wearing ruffs. .
Lewis Mordaunt 3rd Baron Mordaunt: On 21 Sep 1538 he was born to John Mordaunt 2nd Baron Mordaunt (age 30) and Ellen Fitzlewis (age 16). In 1563 Lewis Mordaunt 3rd Baron Mordaunt (age 24) was elected MP Bedfordshire. In 1570 Lewis Mordaunt 3rd Baron Mordaunt (age 31) was appointed High Sheriff of Bedfordshire and High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire.
Ellen Fitzlewis: In 1522 she was born to John Fitzlewis (age 25). Before 1538 John Mordaunt 2nd Baron Mordaunt (age 30) and Ellen Fitzlewis (age 15) were married.
Joan Fermor: Around 1516 she was born to Richard Fermor (age 34) and Anne Browne (age 21). After 1543 John Mordaunt 2nd Baron Mordaunt (age 35) and Joan Fermor (age 27) were married.
On 16 Jun 1601 Lewis Mordaunt 3rd Baron Mordaunt (age 62) died at Drayton, Northamptonshire [Map]. His son Henry Mordaunt 4th Baron Mordaunt (age 34) succeeded 4th Baron Mordaunt.
He was buried at All Saints Church, Turvey [Map] where he has a black-painted alabaster pall and black marble slab. The Mordaunt crest appears to have changed to an African woman.
Henry Mordaunt 4th Baron Mordaunt: In 1567 he was born to Lewis Mordaunt 3rd Baron Mordaunt (age 28). Before 1608 Henry Mordaunt 4th Baron Mordaunt (age 41) and Margaret Compton Baroness Mordaunt were married. She by marriage Baroness Mordaunt. In 1608 Henry Mordaunt 4th Baron Mordaunt (age 41) died. His son John Mordaunt 1st Earl Peterborough succeeded 5th Baron Mordaunt.
